Infinity Kingdom Seasonal Event Preview – Midsummer Festival 2025

A brand-new seasonal event is on the horizon for Infinity Kingdom, launching July 11th, right after the next major patch. From what we know so far—and based on previous seasonal events like Children’s Day 2025—this event will follow a very familiar and well-tested structure. But it brings with it a new skin, new opportunities, and potentially some major value for spenders and collectors alike.

In this article, we break down what’s coming, what to expect, and how to prepare.

Event Structure – What to Expect

Based on the details released and past iterations, this upcoming Midsummer Festival will mimic the structure of the Children’s Day 2025 event. Here’s what that typically includes:

  • Celebration Pass: A 30-tier premium track (like a Battle Pass), with high-end rewards culminating in a new limited-time castle skin.
  • Free Track: Rewards available to all players including some currency and minor items.
  • Treasure Hunter Event: The return of the lucky wheel with rare immortal fragments, artifact schematics, and jackpot chaos chests.
  • Ashen Store: Includes Pill of Stone, artifact fragments, challenge tickets, and event-limited items.

Most likely, the premium Celebration Pass will cost $50, just like previous events, and can be completed by active players within 6–7 days of the 10-day event.

While much of the event format remains unchanged, the real highlights are in the cosmetics and strategic rewards—especially the new castle skin.

New Poseidon-Themed Castle Skin – “Abyssal Temple”

The centerpiece of this event will be a brand-new castle skin titled Abyssal Temple, modeled after Poseidon’s oceanic aesthetic. This sleek, visually stunning skin is expected to be an upgrade over the Children’s Day castle skin, both in appearance and likely in functionality.

Expected Stats:

Based on previous event skins and current speculation:

  • 2% All Troops HP (standard across most skins)
  • 5% Honor Gain (likely, as an upgrade over the Children’s Day death rate reduction)

The Honor Gain % is a strong possibility, and if so, it means the skin provides value in any PvP activity where you defeat enemy troops—making it a universal combat skin and a long-term value collector’s item.

This skin will almost certainly only be available via the $50 Celebration Pass premium track.

Frames, Chatboxes & Cosmetics

Some cosmetic items are also returning:

  • The Midsummer Festival frame (not Poseidon-themed, which may disappoint some collectors)
  • Potential chatbox or nameplate updates

Last time, chatbox color issues required developer intervention. Hopefully, visual design will be improved this time around.

Treasure Hunter and Chaos Fragment Farming

The Treasure Hunter wheel is likely to return in this event, with the same mechanics as described here.

This includes:

  • Jackpot Chaos Selection Chests (up to 80 per win)
  • Artifact schematics
  • Immortal fragments (hopefully increased to 3–5 per draw instead of just 1)
  • Dragon crystals, enhancement stones, and gem rewards

We are getting newly released Ares, so expect whales to go very hard at the hunting event this time.

This is one of the best value events for chaos players, especially if you’re hoarding resonance crystals or Celebration Currency.

Final Thoughts – Is It Worth It?

If you’re a collector, PvPer, or player who values long-term account progression, this event is absolutely worth participating in:

  • The Abyssal Temple skin is poised to be a major upgrade. If you got the Childrens Day skin, it wont be anything huge. Upgrading will be hard.
  • The Celebration Pass remains one of the best $50 investments in IK – especially if you did not get a Childrens Day event skin!
  • Great opportunities for chaos fragments, artifact pieces, and powerful rewards.

While the cosmetic frames may not be as exciting, and there’s still some hope they improve fragment drop rates, this event continues a well-loved and highly farmable format.

Get ready to dive deep when the event drops on July 11th. Stock up your resonance crystals, clear your calendar, and let the farming begin!
