Public Service Annoucement: New Peak & Legendary Battle Passes – What You Need to Know Before Spending Insignias!

The latest patch has introduced two major updates to Infinity Kingdom’s Battle Pass system: the Legendary Battle Pass (already live across most servers) and the brand-new Peak Battle Pass (currently only active on select servers, rolling out gradually). At first glance, these look like two separate events with their own reward systems – but most players think of them as seperate events, they are not! They share the same currency, the Inferno Insignia.
This is a huge and very important for players to understand. I am writing this article, because I have been asked by many players in the last days since the Legendary Pass Shop became available “what should I buy” and while buying holy or shadow here is perfectly valid if you need them, it needs to be an informed decision to do so. You must realize that by spending Insignias in the Legendary Pass Shop you are loosing out on possible Chaos Immortal Fragments or Artifacts in the Peak Shop once that is available to you.
The Peak Pass will introduce access to Chaos Immortal Fragments and Chaos Unique Artifact Fragments through its new shop. These are the most expensive immortal rewards we’ve seen so far:
For comparison, the Legendary Pass shop prices are much cheaper:

So while spending Insignias now to finish Shadow or Holy talent trees is absolutely valid, players should understand the trade-off: doing so reduces your ability to invest in Chaos once the Peak Pass hits your server.
From what I’ve been told by players on servers already running the Peak Pass, a full clear of both Battle Passes nets you roughly 2600 Inferno Insignias per season (this is not yet confirmed, and it’s still unclear if you can hit max rewards without gem spending).

If those numbers are correct, here’s what that means:
Again – this math is not confirmed by me since I do not have access, but it’s based on credible reports from players who I trust and who currently have the Peak Pass active. Treat this as early info, not official numbers. I will make dedicated guides for this once I have the Peak Pass available. I had actually planned to wait with everything about the Peak Pass till I had it available, but because people are actually spending Insignias not realizing they carry over to the Peak Pass Shop, I felt a need to write this article.
If it were me, I’d hold off on spending Insignias in the Legendary Pass unless you’re absolutely set on finishing Shadow or Holy right now. The Chaos units are clearly positioned as the next power step, and the cost difference shows it. Burning through your Insignias today could leave you way behind once Peak goes live.
That said, don’t feel bad if you spend some. Holy and Shadow are still very strong, and if completing a build helps your marches in the short term, that’s a perfectly fine choice. Just make the decision knowing that Chaos is coming with Peak Pass and the currency is transferable.
For my server, the Peak Pass drops in 9 days. Other servers will see it later, and a few already have it. Time your spending based on that rollout.
Bottom Line: Don’t rush to spend Inferno Insignias in the Legendary Pass shop. The same currency will be required in the Peak Pass, where Chaos Immortal and Artifact fragments are waiting. If you aim to be competitive at the highest levels you want to prioritize chaos.
