Legendary Battle Pass (holy/shadow)
Once you hit castle level 40 and you are in season 2, you unlock the Legendary Battle Pass. This article will give you the details you need to understand and plan how to best take advantage of this pass relative to your goals and objectives.
Legendary Battle Pass is the steady, predictable way to build out Holy and Shadow rosters without relying on lucky pulls. There are two tracks per pass — Silver Medallion (free) and Golden Medallion (paid, $29.99) — and you level them by doing normal daily stuff like hunting gnomes and collecting resources. There will also be special daily quests that relate to current calendar events, like honor for KE days or Rebels killed for Rebel Event days.
A full cycle runs on your server timeline; if you migrate while it’s active, don’t stress — your progress stays. When a pass ends, the next one syncs to the server’s schedule.

How the Two Medallions Work
Silver Medallion (free):
- Rewards across level 1–100:
- 60 × Random Immortal Fragments
- 30 × Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments
- 10 × 30-min Universal Speedups
- 5 × 30-min Training Speedups
- 5 × 30-min Healing Speedups
- 250,000 of each basic resource (no gold)
- Good baseline for F2P or alts. The random Holy/Shadow frags are nice trickle progress.

Golden Medallion ($29.99):
- Additional rewards on top of Silver:
- 60 × Shadow and Light Selection Chest II
- 60 × Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments
- 1,900 Gems
- 930 Inferno Insignias (the currency you spend in the BP shop)
- If you’re actively building Holy/Shadow, Golden basically turns steady grind into targeted progress via the shop + selection chests.

Level cap: Silver medallions go up to level 50 and Gold continues rewarding Insignias until 100. You cannot repeat level 100 for additional insignias in the same way as you can repeat the last level of the Golden Pass.
Leveling the Pass (EXP Math You Can Actually Use)
Daily there are 6–7 tasks, each worth 150 pass EXP.
- Min-case (6 tasks): 900 EXP/day
- Often (7 tasks): 1,050 EXP/day
Cost per pass level: 250 EXP
Total EXP to max to level 100: 24,750 EXP (that’s 99 level-ups × 250)

28-day season floor math:
- Min-case missions: 6 × 28 = 168
- EXP from those: 168 × 150 = 25,200
- That’s more than enough to hit level 100 without grinding anything extra. You can even miss a few tasks and still cap. Bare in mind, that some days hold 7 daily quests, allowing you to catch up slightly if you missed some tasks during the season.
Skip option: If you fall behind, you can buy levels at 600 Gems per level.

Migration note: Moving servers during the season does not reset your progress.
The Legendary Battle Pass Shop (Holy/Shadow)
This is where the pass really pays out.
- Inventory: All Holy and Shadow Immortals and their artifacts.
- Currency: Inferno Insignias (same currency used later in Peak BP; more on that below).
- Prices & limits:
- 60 Immortal Fragments = 450 insignias (limit 4 purchases per cycle)
- Artifact = 600 insignias (limit 2 purchases per cycle)

Quick value gut-check: The Golden track gives 930 insignias, which is worth just over two 60-frag packs (930 ÷ 450 ≈ 2.06 → ~124 frags), or 1 artifact + leftover. Combine this with the selection chests and you can make a noticeable dent in a Holy/Shadow project every season.
Tip: If you are close to castle level 50. You need to know that the currency Insignias are used in both the Legendary and the Peak Battle Pass where you can redeem for Chaos immortals and artifacts. Read below.
Peak Battle Pass (Heads-Up for Castle 50+)
Once you hit Castle level 50, there’s also the Peak Battle Pass (separate guide here), focused on Chaos immortals and artifacts.
The important thing here: both passes use the same insignia currency. That means you can bank insignias across seasons and spend them in either shop.
So what should you do?
- Below C50 and far from it: It’s totally fine to spend on Holy/Shadow now — you’ll feel the power spike earlier. Not all players have the spending level required to ever complete Chaos Immortals with artifacts and talents requireing a lot of investment. If that is you, going for key shadow or holy immortals and artifacts is perfectly valid!
- Close to C50 or planning Chaos soon: Consider banking insignias so that, when Peak BP unlocks, you can grab Chaos fragments/artifacts. It’s a long grind if you’re going pure Battle Pass, but banking makes the first Peak cycle hit way harder. If you do go for Chaos Immortals remember you need 4750 immortal fragments to upgrade talents after completing the star ranks. More on that here.
- If you plan to spend real money specifically for Chaos, banking before C50 is usually the smarter play.
Conclusion Summary
- Two tracks: Silver (free) and Golden ($29.99).
- Leveling is easy: 6–7 × 150 EXP dailies; you need 24,750 EXP total; 28 days at minimum tasks is 25,200 EXP, so you can cap without sweat.
- Rewards worth noting: Golden adds 1,900 Gems, 930 insignias, 60 Selection Chest II, and 60 random Holy/Shadow frags.
- Shop: 450 insignias = 60 frags (limit 4), 600 insignias = 1 artifact (limit 2). Plan purchases ahead.
- Think ahead: Same insignia currency is used in Peak BP (C50+ Chaos). If Chaos is your endgame, bank now and cash out later.
Bottom line: If you’re actively building Holy or Shadow or Chaos later, Golden Medallion is a good value. If Chaos is your target and C50 is close, bank the insignias and go big when Peak unlocks.
