Abyssal Temple (Midsummer Festival 2025)

The Midsummer Festival 2025 introduces the Abyssal Temple castle skin—a sleek Poseidon-themed design with real combat impact. What sets it apart is its fresh stat boost: Troop Attack rather than Immortal Attack. That shift may seem subtle but it reshapes the value hierarchy of all combat skins.

Why Troop Attack Takes the Crown

Infinity Kingdom recently spotlighted how troop attributes scale massively better than Immortal attributes: each point of troop attack is amplified by troop count, whereas Immortal stats apply once per hero. If you lead 60,000 troops, a 1% Troop Attack buff hits every one of them for an exponential output boost—compared to a single Immortal punch from an Immortal Attack buff.

Put simply: with more troops comes more multiplied value. The Abyssal Temple’s Troop Attack buff transfers power to your army’s very foundation, not just your heroes. That makes it the most impactful combat skin in history.

🛡️ Comparing Combat Skins

Infinity Kingdom combat skins fall into two camps: Immortal Attack-based and Troop-based boosts.

Immortal-Attack Skins (e.g., Skyriver Palace)

  • Effect: +% boost to Immortal Attack.
  • Value: Great for raw hero damage—but scales poorly with troop mass. Best early game or low-troop setups.

Troop Attack Skin (Abyssal Temple)

  • Effect: +Troop Attack %, scaling across every unit you lead.
  • Value: Far superior on heavy-march accounts. As your army grows, its bonus multiplies exponentially.

Hybrid Skins (e.g., Mt. Paradise)

  • Mixed buffs: Some balance combat and utility (health, speed).
  • Value: Good if you’re balancing PvE efficiency with PvP performance, but lack raw punch.

📊 The verdict: To dominate Conquest-level marching, nothing beats Abyssal Temple for sheer damage scaling.

🎯 Acquisition & Upgrades

You can get the Abyssal Temple skin exclusively via the Celebration Pass in the Midsummer Festival (July 11–20).

  • Base unlock: Premium Pass (~$49.99) grants the skin at level 1: +5% Troop Attack, –3% Death Rate.
  • Upgrade path: Level up to 10 (using duplicates from Treasure Hunter rewards), increasing stats to +15% Troop Attack, –6% Death Rate.
  • Leaderboard scope: Only top ranks earn fragments, making higher levels whale-friendly—but level 1 is strong enough for most.

📏 Strategic Considerations

  • Light Spend:
Grab level 1. A permanent Troop Attack boost is valuable forever. You may skip further upgrades to conserve resources.
  • Heavy or Whale Players:
Push for upgrades. Every percent of Troop Attack and Death Rate reduction amplifies massive troop numbers—maxing the skin is a serious advantage.
  • Early Game Users:
Focus on leveling troops and your Immortal lineup; the skin’s value will grow with your march size.

OBS: Expect new skins to come out being better than this skin! There is a pretty clear pattern at this point, through the four years of this game, we have seen consistently new skins being released one more powerful than the last. So expect the next one to be slightly more powerful 😉

🧠 Why It Matters

From our guide on troop vs. Immortal attributes, investing in troop stats is an investment in scale—and the Abyssal Temple is the first skin designed to fully embrace that principle. By offering troop-centric combat buffs, IK is catering to the evolving meta, where mass marches and grand battles define Conquest—and where scale wins.

TL;DR

  • Abyssal Temple offers +Troop Attack (level 1) and extra Death Rate reduction at higher levels—no other skin delivers that.
  • Troop Attack scales dramatically stronger than Immortal Attack once you march tens of thousands of units.
  • Level 1 is solid for all; full investment is reserved for whales seeking dominance.
  • To obtain: get the Premium Celebration Pass, then chase Treasure Hunter leaderboard rewards.

Final Word: With troop count now king, Abyssal Temple shifts the balance—it’s not just a skin, it’s a statement on where IK’s future power lies. If you’re building your march for late-game supremacy, this castle conversion is unmissable.
