Earth Himiko Build for season 2 – a Top Meta Build (short of chaos)
The meta in Season 2 starts to look a lot more like Conquest than what you may be used to from Season 1. With Sparks of Galaxy, Theodora, Himiko, and Bjorn become much more doable for a fraction of the cost of Theias in S1 (roughly $400–$500; see the Sparks guide for details). So this is a spender build in S2, but you can still build toward it even if you need to keep Zenobia instead of Theodora and Charles instead of Bjorn for a while. (Tip: in Conquest the price drops further, and multiple seasons of Battle Pass reduce the price tags considerably.)

This isn’t a guide on obtaining these immortals. See the separate event guides for that. The point is: in Season 2 this should be thought of as a spender build that can compete at the top of the ladders without using any Chaos Immortals.
Core Concept
The core concept relies on massive sustain and mitigation, while Himiko takes advantage of her high mage crit chance and massive AoE damage and control. (Himiko can reach that consistent crit feel because she can run mage-crit-chance artifacts, not just flat %damage pieces.)

Later versions of this build will build into Fu Fei, but for now we are assuming you do not have access to max upgraded Chaos Immortals.
Lineup & Flex
Regardless of where you’re at, the setup and skill plan are the same (Theo or Zeno, Bjorn or Charles).
Spending levels are different for everyone, so here’s how to think about it:
- Best non-Chaos setup right now: Theodora / Bjorn / YSS / Himiko. This is the top version for S2 if you can afford it.
- Growing into it: You can use the exact same skill setup on Zenobia / YSS / Charles / Himiko while you build resources. It plays the same way — just slightly less cleanse/mitigation ceiling until you upgrade to Theo and Bjorn.
- Big spender path (already have Fu Fei in S2): You can still run the same overall structure, but put Fighting Master on Fu Fei instead of Himiko. The idea is the same — protect your primary controller/nuker from getting shut down by enemy control.

The Setup
Healer — Zenobia / Theodora
Zenobia / Theodora is your healer, offering strong sustain. Theodora adds the huge advantage of removing Damage over Time (DoT) effects like Blade Vortex, which is very powerful in Season 2.
- Run Assist to protect Himiko’s troop count.
- Add Vitality Touch for extra healing and mitigation.
- Third slot options:
- Purification (small heal + dispel),
- Resist vs heavy mage enemies, or
- Malice (my preferred pick in S2) because consistent crit damage can still be dampened here. (Late in Conquest, crit scales too high for Malice to keep up, but in S2 it still does work.)

Carry — Himiko
Himiko is the core immortal. She hits very hard and brings a strong control effect that most S2 teams aren’t hard-countering yet (only a few whales will be running Fu Fei this early). Even against those, her raw damage is high, especially with elemental advantage versus anything that isn’t Shadow or Holy.
- Use Annihilation and Spell Disintegration for damage.
- Fighting Master is mandatory in S2 to avoid getting shut down by enemy control (including mirror Himikos). This is very important.
(If you’re a big spender running Fu Fei this season, shift Fighting Master from Himiko to Fu Fei instead, keeping the rest of the plan the same.)

Tank/Aura — Bjorn / Charles
This slot gives you survivability and mitigation so Himiko can safely do her job. Bjorn is the premium pick; Charles is fine while you’re building.
- Energy Shield for steady shielding and better sustain into spikes.
- Weakness (Aura) because in S2 you still want a bit more help reaching that consistent crit rate for Himiko. Later you won’t need to burn an aura slot for it, but in S2 you usually do.
- Weakening Curse (ideal) to hard-counter enemy physical damage dealers, especially front-loaded lines with Alex and similar. If you don’t have Weakening Curse, slot Oaken Guard.

Tank/Buffer — Yi Sun-sin (YSS)
YSS is basically mandatory because his ultimate provides 30% less damage taken and 30% more healing received (with his unique setup), which perfectly matches a sustain/control plan.
- Spring of Life for more sustain in long fights.
- Energy Suppression, which is great in S2 since hyper-regen skills like Corrosive and Energy Master aren’t around yet.
- If you did not slot in Resist on your support, you can sometimes get greater value from Resist over Energy Suppression when faced with mage-carry enemies.
- Jade Barrier for extra shielding and magical mitigation.

Side notes – If You Lack Expensive Skills
If you don’t have the top-end pieces yet, grace effects can hold the line:
- Blessing of Defense + Oaken Guard works fine if you aren’t running Weakening Curse.
- Rage Blessing is also useful if you have an empty slot and no Wisdom Well options yet.
Dragon
Run Earth Dragon with the Collapse specialization talents for extra mitigation and longer mitigation windows. As you upgrade, prioritize Sandstorm Breath — just stick to the basic, proven dragon upgrade principles you normally follow.

Conclusion
For Season 2, Earth Himiko is a spender-friendly, non-Chaos top option that wins by outlasting and controlling while Himiko crit-bombs teams. The best version right now is Theodora / Bjorn / YSS / Himiko, but you can mirror the skills on Zenobia / YSS / Charles / Himiko while you grow. And if you’re already splashing on Fu Fei in S2, run the same idea but move Fighting Master to Fu Fei instead of Himiko.
Bottom line: build the sustain shell, protect Himiko’s troop count, keep control immunity where it matters, and let her high mage-crit setup do the cleanup.
