Every anniversary in Infinity Kingdom tends to follow a familiar structure: a mix of progression events, ranking challenges, shop rotations, and an experimental mini-game layered on top of the usual economy loop. The 5th Anniversary event appears to follow that model, but with a few notable additions that change how players should plan their resources.

From early information, this celebration revolves around three central currencies:

• Fish Tokens
• 5th Anniversary Coins
• Plus returning currencies: Tokens of Light and Eternal Grails

Fruit Frenzy (2048 Mini-Game)

Overview

A new 2048-style puzzle mode:

• Merge identical fruits by sliding the board.
• Each move consumes Fish Tokens.
• Rewards based on progress.
• Ranking rewards available.
• Extra Fish Token pricing not yet confirmed.

Strategic Approach

From similar limited-move event games in the past:

1. Avoid random swipes.
2. Establish a corner stacking strategy early.
3. Preserve open lanes to avoid dead boards.

If ranking rewards are meaningful (Tokens of Light, Coins, or rare shards), expect competition from heavy spenders buying additional Fish Tokens.

Important Unknowns

• Cost of extra Fish Tokens, if you are inefficient in the event you may need to purchase more Fish Tokens.

If ranking rewards are top-heavy, F2P players should focus on progression milestones rather than leaderboard chasing.

Celebration Cake (Collaborative Mini-Game)

Overview

• Invite one collaborator per cake.
• Craft up to two cakes.
• Each cake has 30 levels.
• Both partners receive rewards at every level.
• Upgrade cakes using Delicious Cream.
• Cream obtained from anniversary events or Recharge Shop.

This is essentially a cooperative progression ladder.

Choose collaborators carefully. Ideally: Similar activity level, similar spending tier, reliable activity.

Cream is partially locked behind Recharge:

• F2P players may cap below level 30.
• Moderate spenders may reach full clear on both cakes.

Lore’s Challenge

Overview

• Returns in Normal and later Hard modes.
• Rewards:
  • Gems
  • 5th Anniversary Coins

Anniversary Coins feed directly into the Challenge Shop. That means Lore’s Challenge is not optional if you want cosmetic or premium items from the event store.

Hard mode:

• Unlocks at day 2
• Requires optimized march builds, but doable by most

During the first days you want to buy a few extra attacks to raid even though you are unable to raid hardmode yet. This is contrary to the older events, because they changed the way the shop stock works a few seasonals ago. Now you have 1 daily stock for the main items: Tokens of Light, Stardust and Unique Artifact Chests. Personally, I make sure to collect the daily Token of Lights and the Stardust.

Pinnacle Trial (Anniversary Edition)

Overview

• Strong preset marches to defeat. Later levels can be quite challenging, try to push as far as you can.
• Ranking battles.
• Rewards include:
  • Random Immortal Shards
  • Tokens of Light
  • 30 Sun Chariot Castle Skin Fragments

Dazzling Wish

Overview

• Rewards are not exclusively Eternal Grails, no other secondary rewards.

This is a stable, known mechanic. No major structural change.
