Pirate Festival 2025

Pirate Festival 2025 – Full Guide & Skin Breakdown

The Pirate Festival is back, and if you’ve played Harvest Festival before, you’ll feel right at home. It’s basically the same structure, just with pirate flavor on top. The main difference this year is in the rewards: a new Sun Chariot City Skin and, more importantly, Abyssal Throne fragments are now available in the event pass. That’s in my opinion the real big reward for this event, since it means I can slowly build up Abyssal without having to whale on rankings. Very nice!

So yeah, the event itself isn’t anything groundbreaking, but the rewards make it worth paying attention to. Anyways, lets get into the details.

General Event Info

This is one of those seasonal grind events with multiple parts running at the same time: daily quests, challenges, PvE fights, spins, and a final shop. If you’re used to Harvest Festival, it’s the same thing in practice. The only thing that changes from year to year are the skins and which rewards get put into the pool.

Event Content & Mechanics

1. Daily Sign-in

Log in every day, grab Tokens of Light, and toss them into Dazzling Wish. Free spins are always worth it, just don’t expect miracles. If you hit the Chaos Immortal jackpot or the skin fragments, congrats — that’s pure luck.

2. Battle Pass

Same daily quest pass as always.

  • You can skip one quest per day or even miss one full day and still complete it.
  • The $50 premium tier unlocks the Sun Chariot skin.

Sun Chariot, any good?

The march speed here is surprisingly good. Normally defensive skins use troop death rate reduction, but march speed makes this skin more flexible.
I think that Move speed is the best secondary stat (meaning outside of attack or defense) because you are able to hit the enemy and recall before the enemy lands. That means you can fight with a huge advantage as you can recall your main before an enemy hits you).
Could be the best defensive option so far, but it really depends on your setup, for defensive late game setups, this may prove better than Abyssals Attack if upgraded.

More Abyssal Flame!

The fragments you collect while progressing the pass are actually Abyssal Throne, not Sun Chariot. That’s nice, because it means you’re building toward something long-term instead of adding yet another half-finished skin to your list.

3. Glorious Challenge

Exactly the same as always. The only tip is: save your extra gem-attempts until Hard Mode opens. Every event, people burn them early and end up losing value. Once Hard is open, spend freely.

4. Pinnacle Trials

This is the PvE section that ends with the new Pinnacle Trial Ranking mode.

  • Top 10 players on your server show up on a ranking board.
  • Other players can challenge them to gain points and push their own ranking.

It’s more of a competitive race for high-end players, but casuals can still clear the PvE for some rewards. Think of it as a fun distraction if you’re not aiming for the leaderboard. Note that this also rewards Abyssal Throne fragments, thus another avenue to obtain these fragments if you are able to qualify as a top ranking player.

5. Dazzling Wish

This one got worse compared to the old version. It’s no longer cross-server, so you can’t play smart or snipe. The value just isn’t there unless you’re spending heavily.

Odds look like this:

  • Sun Chariot: 0.05%
  • Chaos Immortal Chests (80x): 0.45%
  • Chaos Artifact fragments (60x): 0.6%
  • Chaos Immortal Chests (5x): 2.5%
  • Chaos Artifact fragments (5x): 3%
  • Random Chaos Immortal fragments (1x): 6%
  • Holy/shadow Random Frags: 7.4%

Basically, for most players this is a lottery — not efficient, not worth serious money. If you’re a whale chasing Chaos or skins, you’ll still roll. Everyone else should just treat the free pulls as bonus value.

Personally I think there is a somewhat hidden gem to get the random fragments. Ofc you need a bit of luck with these, but at 6% and 7.4% the drop rate is quite frequent. If you want to rank in this event, you are going to see A LOT of random fragments and a real impact on unlock and maxing immortal progress speeds.

6. Celebration Shop

The priorities here haven’t changed:

  1. Artifacts (x3)
  2. Stardust
  3. Tokens of Light
  4. Speedups or Philosopher Stones depending on your situation

If you’re in Season 2 (or early Season 1), Philosopher Stones are more valuable because the new specialization tree eats up immortal fragments like crazy. If you’re already stacked on immortals, speedups will usually do more for you.

Final Thoughts

Pirate Festival 2025 isn’t a brand-new experience — it’s Harvest Festival with pirate cosmetics. The gameplay loop is the same, so don’t expect surprises. The interesting part is in the rewards:

  • Sun Chariot adds a genuinely solid defensive skin option.
  • Abyssal Throne is still my go-to combat skin, and now it’s more accessible through the pass.

Main advice:

  • Be patient — don’t rush unlocks, you’ll lose Pirate Marks.
  • Don’t over-invest in Dazzling Wish unless you know what you’re doing.
  • Grab Abyssal fragments wherever you can.

The event’s nothing new, but the rewards are worth grinding out if you’re serious about skins.
