Serpent’s Gaze Awakens (November 2025)

A breakdown of rewards, value, and how to make the most out of the event.

Alright, so Serpent’s Gaze Awakens landed today on friday the 14th of november 2025. If you’ve played the last few seasonal events, the structure will feel familiar, but there’s a huge twist this time: the Grail Shop.

The whole thing runs for 10 days, which is long enough that even if you miss a few tasks, you can still walk away with a ton of value. And honestly, this event is pretty friendly to low spenders and free-to-play, because Tokens of Light never expire and Eternal Grails carry over. So nothing feels “wasted” if you can’t push everything.

This guide digs into every part of the event, but also explains why certain pieces are worth doing and what type of player benefits most from each one.

Event Overview

  • Duration: Nov 14 → Nov 23 (10 days total)
  • Main Components:
    • Daily Sign-In
    • Koi Gift Pack system
    • Corridor of Ghostflame Battle Pass
    • Glorious Challenge
    • Pinnacle Trial
    • Dazzling Wish
    • Grail Shop (new)
    • Celebration Shop

Some pieces are quick “grab and go” value, and some are serious time or gem sinks. If you want to stretch your rewards, the trick is knowing which sections your account can realistically handle.

Koi Gift Pack & Daily Sign-In

This is the low-effort, high-reliability part of the event. Even if you do nothing else, at least grab your free Token of Light every day.

Why Tokens of Light matter

They’re used in Dazzling Wish, and here’s the important part:
Tokens do not expire.
So even if this event isn’t your focus, you’re stacking for future cycles where rewards might be better for your account.

About the Koi Gift Pack (Paid Optional)

This pack is honestly one of the best “small spender” packs in the entire game right now. For $4.99 you get:

  • 5 Tokens of Light
  • 520 Gems
  • 500 VIP Points
  • Chance at 4,250 Eternal Grails every two days

If you buy the pack five times and never win the draw, you still get 850 Grails, which equals 80 Chaos immortal shards in the Grail Shop. No other $25 spend in the game gets you Chaos shards this efficiently.

If you’re a light spender, this is the pack that feels like a no-brainer.

Corridor of Ghostflame – Battle Pass

This is your standard monthly-style Battle Pass with 30 levels and the usual daily missions.

But before you swipe the $49.99 premium pass: The skins this month are not meta-defining

  • Corridor of Ghostflame: Honor bonus
  • Mt. Paradise: March speed bonus

Marching speed sounds nice, but in practice the increase is so tiny that it’s hard to feel. And since neither of these skins gives combat stats like HP, ATK, or DEF, they don’t change PvP outcomes.

Note: It says “Peach Blossom Mountain fragments” which for some reason is the misleading name for Mt. Paradise fragments.

Free track gives:

  • 30 Tokens of Light

Premium track ($49.99) gives:

  • 58 extra Tokens
  • 60 Ghostflame Fragments
  • 30 Mt. Paradise Fragments

You need 60 fragments to make a skin, and 11 total skins to fully develop either one. So unless you’re collecting cosmetics, this pass probably isn’t worth the price for most players.

Daily missions

You get 7 missions a day for 100 EXP each, and you’ll end up with around 70 total tasks across the event. You don’t need perfect attendance to finish the pass — you can skip a few each day and still get to level 30.

Tasks include:

  • Training 40k troops (you’ll need to build more than once)
  • Arena
  • Well of Time
  • Market purchases
  • Pinnacle Trial
  • Glorious Challenge
  • Gnome bosses

Veteran tip: The troop-training missions are the only ones you might need to plan around. All the others take only a few minutes.

Glorious Challenge

This section works almost exactly like Well of Time, but with two difficulty modes and different reward currency.

Normal Mode

  • Available from day 1
  • 16 levels
  • Very easy — most players breeze through

Hard Mode

  • Unlocks on day 3
  • Similar to Elite campaigns in difficulty
  • More puzzles, more skill setups needed, more punishing

Attempts

  • 5 free attempts per day
  • Can buy up to 100 more in the shop for 8,000 Gems

Rewards

  • First clear of each stage: 50 gems
  • Raids give Serpent’s Eyes, used in the Celebration Shop

The best way to maximize value here is to save your bought attempts for Hard mode, since the cloud (Serpent’s Eyes) yield is way better there.

If you only do the free attempts, you won’t get every cosmetic, but you’ll easily get all the practical items.

Speed Rankings

This is purely for competitive players. If you’re not pushing top-of-server stats, don’t stress this part. It’s bragging rights and a leaderboard, nothing more.

Pinnacle Trial

Think of Pinnacle as the “elite version” of Glorious Challenge. It has fewer stages but better rewards.

Structure

  • 5 levels total
  • 1 attempt per day
  • No way to buy extra entries

If you clear the levels, you unlock raid for the rest of the event.

Rewards include:

  • 25 Random Immortal Fragments
  • 30 Mt. Paradise Fragments
  • 10 Tokens of Light

The difficulty jumps pretty hard in the last couple of stages because enemy marches use legendary skills. So if you’re mid-game and stuck, don’t feel bad — this mode is meant to be tough.

PvP Ranking Section

This works almost like a mini-Arena:

  • You challenge the top 10 player matches
  • You get 5 PvP attempts per day
  • Wins gain you points
  • Losses do nothing (no penalty)

End-of-event rewards (Mt. Paradise Fragments):

  • 1st — 24
  • 2nd — 18
  • 3rd — 12
  • 4th–10th — 6

If you’re not in a very active or powerful server, you might sneak into top 10 with a strong Chaos or Earth march. But in most servers, whales dominate this board.

Dazzling Wish

Okay, this one got a serious rework for this event.

What changed?

The top prizes (skins, Chaos-exclusive items) were all replaced with Eternal Grails (which can be redeemed for the same Chaos stuff):

  • 1,000
  • 500
  • 100
  • 50
  • 5

Elemental immortal fragments and Dragon Crystal chests are still in the pool.

Token usage

  • 1 token = 1 point on the leaderboard
  • 4,000 tokens guarantees the 1,000-grail pull
  • Daily top 200 get extra grails
  • Overall event top 200 get even more rewards
  • Top player gets the Femme Fatale dynamic frame

Token bundles

Cheapest tokens = best value. The ranking goes like this:

Great value:

  • $2.99
  • $4.99

Worst value:

  • $19.99
  • $49.99 (both of them)

There’s also a one-time $49.99 bundle with 25 tokens and a dynamic frame, but it’s purely for collectors.

You can also get 25 free tokens from the Celebration Shop.

Grail Shop (New System)

This is the game-changer. Eternal Grails are now a reusable currency for buying Chaos immortal shards, artifacts, and other items.

Chaos Shards

Each purchase gives 80 shards, and you can buy each immortal 20 times.

Costs:

  • 850 Grails → Medusa (new)
  • 750 Grails → Athena, Anubis, Fu Fei, Poseidon, Nine Tails, Wukong, Loki

Artifacts

  • Medusa artifact: 1,100
  • All others: 1,000

Other items

  • Forging stone chests
  • Stellar Core Crystals
  • Holy/Shadow Selection Chests
  • Artifact chests
  • Territory decoration fragments

The big thing: Grails carry over

Unlike almost every other event currency, Eternal Grails don’t expire. That means you can save for future seasonal events and release events, as I assume this will be the new default setup (but again, this is an assumption and always subject to being changed).

Celebration Shop

This shop uses Serpent’s Eyes, which come mainly from Glorious Challenge.

Priority Items (what everyone should grab)

  • 25 Tokens of Light
  • Entangle avatar frame
  • Viper chatbox
  • 2 Artifact Selection Chests
  • 600 Stardust

The cosmetics + collectibles cost 1,700 coins total.

Artifact chests are 2,000 each.
Stardust is 1,000 per 100.
Tokens of Light (all 10 sets) = 10,000 coins.

How many coins can you get?

If you do all 32 stages:

  • Normal 1–16: 1,890 coins
  • Hard 1–16: 3,670 coins
    Total: 5,560

If you skip artifact chests, you can clean out all the good items without spending gems.

If you buy the 100-ticket pack (optional gem sink)

  • Costs 8,000 Gems
  • Raiding Hard 16 gives ~28,000 coins

That’s enough to grab literally everything in the shop with room to spare.

Conclusion Summary

Serpent’s Gaze Awakens mostly follows the structure of the usual monthly event, but the introduction of the Grail Shop is a major shift. It gives players a predictable, less-RNG way to farm Chaos immortals, which is something players have needed for a long time.

Everything else in the event is useful, but the real long-term value comes from:

  • Daily Tokens of Light
  • Glorious Challenge farming
  • Eternal Grails → Chaos shards

Bottom line:
Treat this event as a long-term investment. Grab your free tokens, work through the challenges at your own pace, and put every Eternal Grail you get into Chaos immortals. The Grail Shop is the real prize here.
