Detailed guide on Attributes and their relevance for immortal types
Understanding Immortal Stats and Their Roles

Introduction
Immortals are the beating heart of every army in Infinity Kingdom, and understanding their individual stats is essential to maximizing your team’s performance in both PvE and PvP. While skill builds and elemental synergies are important, the raw stats of each Immortal directly affect their combat effectiveness. This guide will break down what each stat means, how it impacts battle performance, and what types of Immortals benefit most from each stat category.

Core Immortal Stats Explained
1. Physical Attack (PATK)
- What it is: This stat determines the base damage dealt by skills or basic attacks that scale with physical attack.
- Relevance: Crucial for melee and ranged physical damage dealers (e.g., Alexander, Hannibal Barca).
- Synergies: Works well with skills like Cleave, Duel Master, and Anger.
2. Magical Attack (MATK)
- What it is: This stat affects the potency of magic-based damage skills.
- Relevance: Key for mages and casters such as Himiko, Merlin, and Baldwin.
- Synergies: Boosts effectiveness of skills like Annihilation, Fireball, and Death Breath.
3. Physical Defense (PDEF)
- What it is: Reduces incoming physical damage.
- Relevance: Important for frontline Immortals, because they are likely to face an enemy physical damage based immortal and also because normal attacks / Auto attacks are physical, even when made by a mage or a support!
- Synergies: Combines well with Oaken Guard, Physical Shield, Life-Link, Toxin Barrier and Blessing of Defense.
4. Magical Defense (MDEF)
- What it is: Reduces incoming magical damage.
- Relevance: Vital for units regularly exposed to AoE magic attacks.
- Synergies: Reinforced by skills like Resist, Magic Shield, Absolute Defense, Blessing of Defense, Jade Barrier, etc.
5. Dodge
- What it is: Huge defense against physical damage. All physical damage can be dodged. If you dodge you take 0 damage from the ability or skill you are dodging. Therefore very good value if you can get the enemy to miss attacks!
- Relevance: Universally important. But ultimately only relevant if you can stack enough to make your enemy miss / your immortals dodge enemy attacks. See Battle Reports!
- Synergies: Strong synergy with other effects like Misleading and After-Image because dodge basically is based on your dodge value versus the enemies Accuracy value. If your dodge is greater = you dodge enemy attacks.
6. Accuracy
- What it is: All physical damage can be dodged. If you dodge you take 0 damage from the ability or skill you are dodging. Accuracy makes sure your attacks dont miss or get dodged!
- Relevance: Important to physical damage dealers, high priority to get enough of. But once you get enough the value drops to nothing. But ultimately only relevant if you can stack enough to make your enemy miss / your immortals dodge enemy attacks. See Battle Reports! Therefore, you get huge value out of all accuracy attributes as long as you are “behind” against an enemies dodge. Once you hit 100% hit rate, the value of accuracy drops to nothing at all. But getting it to 100% is extreemly important! This can be a triggy balance if you wield a physical damage centered setup.
- Note that magical attacks cannot be dodged and thus mages require 0 accuracy to hit everything.
- Synergies: Strong synergy with other effects like Coercion.
7. Resilience
- What it is: The higher your resilience the less chance there is to get hit by a critical strike.
- Relevance: Relevant to all Immortals and especially relevant fighting against Chase-based mage setups.
- Synergies: Malice boosts your resilience rate significantly and is an expert defense against enemy crit-based setups.
8. Crit Hit / Crit Damage
- What it is: Determines the chance and effectiveness of critical hits.
- Relevance: Crucial for burst-damage dealers and builds centered around Chase or Rage Blessing.
- Synergies: Works exceptionally with Chase setups but generally Critical Hits are a huge factor in burst setups. You can reach over 3x crit damage if you stack and getting a single crit can literally wipe the battlefield if you are playing a high crit-damage-based setup.
9. Energy Regen.
- What it is: Determines the speed at which your immortal regains energy. Upon reaching 1000 energy your immortal will cast his or her ultimate ability. Side note, Attack Speed is directly attributed to regen speed.
- Relevance: Crucial for burst-damage dealers and builds but the higher the better for all..
- Synergies: Works exceptionally with Blessing of Rage builds and building using No Escape, and Energy Suppression and even Fountain of Life.
10. Aptitute
- What it is: Determines your immortals ability to govern. Higher values give boosts when appointed in Castle Government. Also factor for Shield Values and for Magical Protection and Penetration.
- Relevance: Crucial for Charles and Tokugawa as shield values depend on Apt.
11. Magical Penetration / Protection
- What it is: Determines the effectiveness of magical damage hits.
- Relevance: Magical Penetration basically works as exposure percentages. If you have high Penetration your magical damage will be amplified. Enemies with high Protection means the magical damage they recieve is reduced. Think of Elemental protection in other games.
12. HP (Health Points) – Unofficial attribute
- What it is: Determines how much damage an Immortal can take before being eliminated.
- Health Points are directly linked to troop tier attributes and your immortals “health pool” is thus a direct factor of the troop count deployed by the immortal. Increased troop count = bigger health pool.
- Relevance: Universally important, especially important for DPS units. Damage Dealt by skills and healing done my skills are based directly on the amount of troops alive at the time of the cast – thus the remaining HP which equated to troop count.
- Synergies: Strong synergy with healing skills and leech mechanics like Spring of Life and Duel Master.
Stat Priorities by Immortal Type
1. Tanks
- Good stats: HP, Physical Defense, Magical Defense
2. Physical DPS
- Good stats: Accuracy (first prio until hit-cap), Physical Attack, Crit Rate, Regen Speed (attack speed), Physical Defense for frontliners.
3. Magical DPS
- Good stats: Magical Attack, Regen speed, Crit Rate, magical penetration
4. Support / Healers
- Focus on: Regen Speed, HP, Magical Defense, Physical Defense
Advanced Tip: Balancing Base Stats with Skills
An Immortal’s base stats should influence how you build their skill sets. For instance, a high MATK mage should not be given physical scaling skills. Conversely, a physical damage dealer like Alexander should be built for PATK scaling skills. Understanding base stats also helps prioritize artifacts and passive bonuses from specialization trees.
Conclusion
Immortal stats are the foundation upon which all powerful teams are built. Mastering how each stat functions and contributes to different Immortal roles gives you an edge in both PvE events and competitive PvP. Use this knowledge to better assign skills, choose gear, and build cohesive and lethal team compositions.
