Immortal cost-classification list

Immortal Price Classification Guide – How to Understand, Plan, and Spend Wisely on Immortals

1. Why Immortal Price Tags Matter

When you start in Infinity Kingdom, it’s easy to assume that the most expensive immortals are automatically the strongest. While there’s some truth to that—many pay-walled immortals are powerful—the reality is more nuanced:

  • Some of the best immortals are completely free (🆓) and obtainable with only time and effort.
  • Some expensive immortals are underwhelming in practice, especially outside their niche.
  • Price tags are heavily influenced by availability rather than pure combat strength.

Understanding the cost classification of immortals helps you:

  • Plan your builds around what you can realistically obtain.
  • Avoid wasting resources on overpriced or short-lived options.
  • Maximize your investment in Golden Path, seasonal events, and lucky draws.
  • Stay competitive without overspending.

Example: In Fire, Empress Wu (🆓) is one of the strongest DPS immortals in the game and costs nothing. But for an optimal build, she shines brightest alongside Trajan (❄️), who can be much harder to get.

2. Immortal Price Symbol Key

Here’s what each symbol means in the price list:

SymbolMeaning
🐳Whale Tier – Extremely expensive, time-consuming, not F2P-friendly. Usually only top spenders get them.
💰High Tier – Expensive and time-consuming; possible for F2P with immense patience and luck.
💵Low/Mid Spending – Requires some spending, but easier to access over time.
🆓Free-to-Play Friendly – Obtainable through events, rewards, or standard gameplay.
❄️KVK Exclusive – Only obtainable during specific Kingdom vs. Kingdom seasons.
👑Premium – Requires money or lots of time; moderately obtainable for patient F2P.
📜Gems Only – Sold in the market for gems, no other sources.

4. Price ≠ Power: Understanding the Difference

Not all costly immortals are top-tier, and not all free immortals are weak.

Examples:

  • Empress Wu (🆓) – One of the best AoE DPS immortals in the entire game, no spending required.
  • Trajan (❄️) – Mandatory for many high-end Fire builds but locked behind KVK.
  • Himiko (💰) – Pricey and powerful, but niche outside of Shadow setups.
  • Cao Cao (💰👑) – Can be costly early, later cheap but paywalled. Only support for Lightning, and all substitutes are equally or more expensive.

Why this matters: You don’t have to chase every high-cost immortal. Many teams can be competitive with a strong core of free immortals supplemented by one or two targeted purchases.

5. How Price Tags Change Through the Seasons

Immortal pricing isn’t static. Seasonal progression changes accessibility:

  • Season 1: Shadow and Holy are the most expensive elements; their key immortals are mostly locked in Roulette events. Chaos is unavailable.
  • Season 2: Costs for older expensive immortals drop as new acquisition paths open (e.g., Galaxy and Harbor). Shadow/Holy become easier to obtain, freeing resources for other priorities.
  • Conquest Season: Many once-expensive immortals become nearly free through events and market offers. But newly released immortals take their place as the premium chase units—like Chaos immortals in Conquest (🐳 tier).

Key takeaway: If you can wait, some of the most expensive immortals become accessible for free or much cheaper in later seasons. But in competitive servers, early access still has value.

6. Spending Strategy: Golden Path & Events

If you plan to spend:

  • Golden Path: Great for guaranteed shards of targeted immortals; use it for those in your endgame build.
  • Roulette Events: High risk, high reward. Only spin heavily for immortals you must have immediately.
  • Market Purchases (📜): Gem-only immortals are reliable long-term goals; buy consistently when they appear.
  • KVK Exclusives (❄️): Save KVK coins and plan early; missing them can block entire builds.

If you’re F2P or low spender:

  • Focus on the strongest 🆓 immortals in your element first.
  • Use events for shard boosts but avoid burning all resources on early hype.
  • Time your efforts with seasonal price drops.

7. Building Around Price and Availability

  • Mix Free & Paid Wisely: Example: Fire build → Wu (🆓) + Hippolyta (🆓) + Frederick I (🆓) + Trajan (❄️).
  • Plan for KVK Gates: Don’t commit to a build where multiple key immortals are ❄️-locked unless you’re sure you can get them.
  • Prioritize Core Units: Get the immortals that define your team’s playstyle first, even if that means delaying secondary supports.

8. Final Advice

Knowing immortal price classifications is not just about “who’s expensive.” It’s about:

  • Planning your growth path.
  • Avoiding wasted investment.
  • Getting the most powerful teams for your budget.
  • Adjusting to seasonal price shifts.

The strongest players—F2P and whales alike—are the ones who combine timing, planning, and smart spending with a deep understanding of the immortal economy.
