Bundle from june 2025 – Parthenon Temple castle skin and Goddess Might teleportation skin

Gift of Bonding Event Guide: Parthenon Temple Edition

Overview

The latest Gift of Bonding event has gone live, offering a new rotation of rewards and cosmetics for players willing to spend. As with previous iterations, the event is structured around three escalating purchase tiers: $5, $50, and $100. This edition’s featured cosmetic is the Parthenon Temple castle skin, along with a new frame and teleport effect.

Let’s dive into what you get at each tier, and evaluate whether these bundles are worth the price.

Tier 1 – $5 Bundle

  • Cosmetic Frame: Qin-themed castle frame
  • Artifact Fragments: A small number
  • Philosopher Stones: Minimal amount
  • VIP Points: Modest bonus

Verdict: This is a decent micro-purchase if you like collecting cosmetic frames or want to slightly top up your stones or VIP progression. Nothing game-changing.

Tier 2 – $50 Bundle

  • Teleport Effect: Goddess Might visual effect
  • Buff: +3% resource production (all types)
  • Additional Resources: More artifact fragments and philosopher stones

Analysis:
The Goddess Might teleport effect looks fine but isn’t particularly unique or jaw-dropping. The buff itself is very weak – a 3% production speed increase has negligible impact, especially for high-level players or whales who are already resource-capped most of the time. In practice, this is one of the weakest buffs attached to any teleport effect so far.

Verdict: Poor value unless you’re a collector. This tier is easily skippable.

Tier 3 – $100 Bundle

  • Castle Skin: Parthenon Temple
  • Buffs:
    • +5% Healing Speed
    • +5% Resource Production

Visual: The Parthenon Temple is a handsome castle skin, with a classical Greek aesthetic. If you’re collecting skins for their art style, this one might be appealing.

Gameplay Buffs Analysis:

  • Healing Speed: Helpful in mid-war and recovery phases, but very niche. Does not help you win fights.
  • Resource Production: Same underwhelming utility as discussed above.

This makes the Parthenon Temple one of the least impactful castle skins in terms of PvP performance.

Verdict: Only worth it if you love the aesthetic. At $155 total for the full bundle route, this offers very poor combat utility.

Castle Skin Comparison

To better understand the Parthenon Temple’s place in the castle skin meta, here are a few comparisons:

1. Mont Saint Michel

  • Buffs: +5% Resource Production + Troop Training Speed
  • Availability: Past Recharge Event reward
  • Value: Much better than Parthenon thanks to the training speed.

2. Frozen Dragon Hive

  • Buffs: +5% Healing Speed + +5% Resource Production
  • Availability: Golden Path ($20 premium pass)
  • Value: Identical buffs to Parthenon Temple, but significantly cheaper or even obtainable via free progression.

Final Thoughts

This version of Gift of Bonding is one of the weakest we’ve seen from a gameplay standpoint. The cosmetics are decent, but the buffs are underwhelming, especially compared to previously released or more affordable options.

Unless you’re a cosmetic collector or completionist, you are better off saving your money for:

  • Golden Path skins
  • High-impact teleport effects
  • Skins with troop stat bonuses (HP, training speed, etc.)

As always, spend wisely and within your budget. We’ll continue to cover each Gift of Bonding release, so check back regularly to see whether future ones are worth it!
