Complete guide on all skill stones available in Season 1 and how to get them
Season 1 is where players first meet the Wisdom Well, the Cinder Shop, and KvK stones. The trick isn’t just “what’s strong,” it’s timing. You can buy early to spike power in S1, but a lot of these stones are easier or cheaper to get later. If you’re planning long-term, read the Season 2 and Conquest guides too; for now, this page is strictly what’s available in Season 1 and how to use it without wasting currency. Skill value depends on your march, so cross-check with build guides before you commit.

Wisdom Well (Season 1)
What’s inside: the first jackpot pool (list above). When you hit jackpot, you pull one of those stones in a meaningful chunk, which can absolutely turbo a Season 1 march.
In season one you get the first iterations of the Wisdom Well. As the jackpot reward in season 1 you are able to get: Weakening curse, Siren’s gaze, Weakness Protection, Berserker, Wind Rage, Overpower, Smite, Spring of Life, Battle Stance, Fear of Domination, Desire of Life, Unyielding, Storm Strike, Armageddon, Implosion, Energy Shield.

How to use it:
- If you’re pushing now, rolling for things like Weakening Curse for most setups or Wind Rage for hybrids can flip fights fast (check build guides for details).
- If you’re more budget-minded, don’t over-commit. A lot of these stones show up in easier lanes later, so S1 Well pulls are basically you paying a premium for getting key skills early.
My take: I keep Well spending targeted. If a single stone changes my matchups this season, I go for it. Otherwise I hold and build via Cinder Shop picks.
Cinder Wish Shop (Season 1)
What you can buy: Toxin Barrier, Blade Vortex, Full Coverage, Victorious Pursuit, Snipe, Stormeye, Spell Disintegrator, Guard, Vitality Touch, Purification, Jade Barrier, Spear Impale, Void Realm, Demonic Contract.

Why it matters in S1:
- This is your reliable way to finish a march without gambling and to even get skills for free by selling KvK stone rewards and buying using cinders in the wish shop.
- If you pull something from KvK (or Well I guess) you don’t need, you can sell it for Cinders and convert into exactly what your lineup is missing from this list.
KvK Shop (Season 1)

What’s in the shop: Snipe.
Should you buy? Sure, but you wont be needing it since the skill is not particularly strong. But you can still purchase these just fine! Why? Because you turn them into Cinders (more below).

All skill stones can be sold for Cinders. So you can:
- Pick up a stone from KvK using Cold Coins,
- Sell that stone for Cinders,
- Buy something else from the Cinder Shop instead.
The ratio you get here is 1:1 between “KvK skill stone → Cinder Shop skill stone.” That’s huge for flexibility. If KvK is offering something you don’t actually want to run, you can still turn it into a Cinder Shop pick that you do need. This is how budget and F2P players quietly fix holes in a march without swiping.
KvK Chests (Season 1)
What can drop: Full Coverage and Snipe. I don’t recommend heavy spending gems here in S1. Full Coverage can be cute if you’re running a super niche high-regen build, but Conquest gives you better tools in both the KvK Shop and Cinder Shop. For almost everyone, the efficient move is to bank Cold Coins in S1/S2 for Conquest.

Player Perspective (how I play S1)
If I’m trying to win S1 server fights, I’ll take a surgical shot at the Well for a stone that fixes my worst matchup. If you are running an earth himiko spender build going for things like Weakening Curse, Spring of Life in the well and spending cinders on Vitality or Purification or Jade Barrier will provide you with top tier skills for season 1 and season 2. However these will NOT hold top tier ranking going into conquest and later Legendary seasons. Personally, the tricky part is not getting baited into finishing every shiny set—you’ll keep them going in season 1 and season 2 but you will replace them in conquest and legendary where the jackpot rewards are legendary skills and where many new more powerful skills are available.
In essence, if you want to be top dog contender for season 1 and 2, buy the best key skills for your chosen main build. If you are going for max long term efficiency, grind as many KvK Cold Coins as you can, skip Wisdom well skills until conquest and use KvK rewards to turn into free cinders to buy a key single skill if possible.
