Artifacts: Types & Uniques

Artifacts are a way to push your immortals’ power during the late game. Grinding Artifacts is very resource intense, so it’s advisable to not prioritise them over building and research upgrades.

That being said, the right Artifact Rolls on the right Immortal can turn tides and give you a very large advantage over your foe. Artifacts are very powerful and with the introduction of Unique Artifacts their importance has grown further.

Unique artifacts

With the release of 1.8 new Unique artifacts was introduced. Moreover, subsequent patches have brought more and more uniques into play and as we are moving into 2.2 soon most Immortals now have a unique available.

It is important to note, that whilst these artifacts hold special effects for their Immortal, the can ALSO roll the standard special’s described above. For example, this Richard I artifact has the unique effect for Richards ability plus growth special.
