At first glance, the shop looks like it contains a lot of different items with different values. After testing the Affinity gains, however, the shop is actually surprisingly well balanced. The important thing is not finding the highest-value item, but understanding which gifts should be used on which immortals.
Universal Affinity Gifts
These gifts can be used on any immortal and always provide their full value regardless of faction or element.
Spiritfont Nectar
Spiritfont Nectar is the most expensive universal gift in the shop.

This works out to exactly 10 Affinity per crystal.

Purple gifts cost 50 Otherworld Crystals and provide 200 base Affinity to any immortal. When given to the correct element, they grant an additional 300 bonus Affinity, for a total of 500 Affinity.
When used on the matching immortal, every purple gift provides 10 Affinity per crystal spent.
Blue Elemental Gifts
Blue gifts cost 30 Otherworld Crystals and provide 100 base Affinity to any immortal. Matching the gift to the correct element grants an additional 200 bonus Affinity, bringing the total to 300 Affinity.
Just like the purple gifts, the blue gifts also provide 10 Affinity per crystal when used on the correct element.
What This Means
After testing all of the Affinity gifts currently available in the Otherworldly Shop, **there does not appear to be a "best value" elemental gift.**Both the blue and purple versions are balanced around the same Affinity-per-crystal ratio. The only real difference is the amount of Affinity gained per purchase and the daily purchase limits.
As long as you are matching gifts to the correct element, every elemental gift converts crystals into Affinity at the same efficiency. The real optimization comes from making sure you never waste the elemental bonus by giving the wrong gift to the wrong immortal.
