Legendary Season represents the largest progression jump in Infinity Kingdom. The level cap increases from 55 to 60, Mythic equipment becomes available and several new progression systems open alongside a considerably more complicated version of Legion of Frostborne.
There is plenty to learn, but you do not need to understand every calculation before entering the season. This guide provides an overview of the main changes, what you should prepare and which systems deserve their own closer look.

Who Can Enter Legendary Season?
Servers become eligible for Legendary Season after completing Conquest Season Phase 5 or later.
Entering the season unlocks progression beyond level 55 across most areas of the game. This includes buildings, Lords, Immortals, Dragons, equipment, troops, Technology and Tower of Knowledge Skills.
The scale of the expansion means that Legendary Season should be approached as a long-term progression stage. You will not finish everything during the first offseason, nor are you expected to.
Level 60 Progression Buildings
The most obvious change is the new level-60 cap, but upgrading beyond level 55 requires more than ordinary resources and speedups.

Legendary Season introduces an Energy Core progression system containing five tiers with three stages in each tier. These stages are developed using Azure Crystals and Stellar Crystals.
Azure Crystals can be produced by converting Food, Wood, Stone and Iron through a level-55 Forge, while Stellar Crystals are primarily obtained through events. This creates a new progression bottleneck and prevents players from reaching level 60 using saved speedups alone.
Your early priority should therefore be to upgrade the Forge, begin producing Azure Crystals and use your resources carefully.

Mythic Equipment
Level 56 and higher Gnomes begin dropping Legendary+ equipment, which can be upgraded to level 60 and eventually reforged into Mythic quality.

Mythic equipment receives between one and five random attributes, allowing individual pieces to become considerably stronger than ordinary equipment. However, reforging also comes with two important consequences:
- The equipment becomes permanently bound to the Immortal wearing it.
- The equipment returns to level 0 and must be upgraded again.
This makes Mythic equipment a major commitment. Your first pieces should normally be assigned to a long-term Immortal from your primary march rather than someone you may replace in the near future.

You should also begin saving Gold, Enchant Stones and Advanced Enchant Stones before entering Legendary Season. Reforging equipment is only the beginning; upgrading it back to level 60 is where much of the real cost appears.

Elemental Domain
The Elemental Domain is the main source of materials used to reforge Mythic equipment and reroll its attributes.
It contains eight separate dungeons covering Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Holy, Shadow and Chaos. Each dungeon only allows Immortals and Dragons belonging to its corresponding element.
Water through Earth rotate across the weekdays, while every Elemental Domain becomes available during the weekend. Players receive three reward attempts each day, with rewards based on their performance against the boss.
This system gives secondary Immortals and Dragons considerably more value. You do not need eight perfectly developed PvP marches, but relying entirely on one main formation will limit your ability to farm materials.
Before Legendary Season, preserve useful Immortals from different elements and keep several flexible PvE skills available. Even an imperfect elemental team is more useful than having no eligible formation at all.

Legendary Legion of Frostborne
Legendary Season also introduces a more complicated version of Legion of Frostborne.

The first major change is the Profession Contract system. During the preparation period, players select one of three alliance roles:
- Master Craftsman: Produces materials and temporary Unit Boost items.
- Alchemist: Uses those materials to construct and improve Altar Stones.
- Fighting Master: Receives combat-focused bonuses for direct warfare.

These roles support one another. Master Craftsmen supply the materials, Alchemists turn them into Altar Stones and Fighting Masters help protect the operation. Alliances should therefore assign Contracts according to their overall strategic needs rather than allowing every player to select independently.
Contracts become locked when the war period begins, so the distribution should be agreed upon during preparation.

Altar Stones and Battlefield Energy Cores
Cities and checkpoints now gain a third defensive stage. Once their walls and defenders have been defeated, a battlefield Energy Core is exposed.
Normal marches cannot destroy this Energy Core. It must be attacked by Altar Stones constructed by your alliance’s Alchemists. If several Federation alliances participate, the objective belongs to the alliance whose Altar Stone deals the final damage to the Core.
Altar Stones can also attack enemy Altar Stones, castles and troops. This turns city capture into a coordinated logistical operation rather than a simple contest of siege strength.
This battlefield Energy Core is separate from the permanent Energy Core system used for upgrading buildings toward level 60.

How to Prepare
You do not need to stop all account development months in advance, but building a reasonable reserve will make the transition much smoother.
Try to prepare the following:
- Upgrade your buildings to 55, atleast the Castle and Forge to level 55.
- Save Food, Wood, Stone and Iron for Azure Crystal production.
- Stockpile Building and Research Speedups.
- Save Gold, Enchant Stones.
- Decide which Immortal should receive your first Mythic equipment.
- Preserve useful Immortals and Dragons from several elements in preperation for Elemental Domain.
- Keep flexible PvE skills for Elemental Domain formations.
The objective is not to complete Legendary progression immediately. It is to avoid entering the season with no resources, no secondary elemental teams and no plan for your first Mythic equipment.
Summary
Legendary Season expands the level cap to 60 and introduces several connected progression systems. Energy Cores control building development, Elemental Domain supplies Mythic equipment materials and Legendary+ equipment creates a new long-term reforging system.
Legion of Frostborne also becomes more dependent on alliance organisation through Professional Contracts, Altar Stones and battlefield Energy Cores.
For most players, the best approach is simple: save resources, prepare several elemental teams, choose your first Mythic Immortal carefully and coordinate with your alliance before KvK registration closes. You can then explore each new system through the dedicated guides as it becomes relevant to your account.
