The Summer Carnival is the seasonal event scheduled to run from July 10 to July 20, 2026 (UTC). Unlike previous seasonal events focused primarily on spending resources, Summer Carnival mixes several smaller activities together, including a daily mini-game, cosmetic packs, returning player invitations, and community rewards.
Most of the event is straightforward, but the daily mini-game and task system are worth understanding if you want to collect every available reward.
Event Overview
The Summer Carnival consists of six sections:
- Heat Echoes
- Summer Carnival
- Carnival Supplies
- Celebrate Together
- Carnival Rewards
- Event Reminder
Each serves a different purpose.
Heat Echoes
The Heat Echoes page is primarily a nostalgic feature.
Players can revisit artwork and memories from previous summer events by selecting their favorite versions. This section does not appear to include gameplay or progression mechanics and mainly functions as a celebration of past Summer events.
Summer Carnival (Diamond Tycoon)
This is the main gameplay feature of the event.
Players earn attempts by completing daily tasks, then spend those attempts in a 30-second fishing mini-game called Diamond Tycoon: Deep Sea Adventure.
How to unlock attempts
Each completed daily objective grants one play attempt.
Daily tasks include:
- Defeat Gnomes 10 times
- Gather 100,000 Resources
- Log in once
- Complete 5 Arena battles
Maximum attempts each day: 4
The task list resets every day at UTC 00:00, so unused opportunities do not carry over.
How the Mini-game Works
Once the game starts, you have 30 seconds. Your goal is to hook valuable underwater items while avoiding crabs.
Items award different point values:
However, every item requires a different amount of time to reel in. Higher-value items take noticeably longer. Because the timer is short, efficiency matters more than simply targeting the most valuable object. Prioritize diamonds if possible, but beware that if its far away!
Pearls provide good value while taking much less time than diamonds. If no diamond is available, collecting pearls generally offers the best balance between speed and score.
Point Milestone Rewards
Your highest score unlocks milestone rewards.
All milestones are cumulative.

The final milestone also grants an exclusive temporary avatar frame. Reaching 1,000 points will likely require a clean run with multiple diamonds and very few mistakes (unless you play bad like I did today, see below).
Server Rankings
The mini-game also features a server-wide leaderboard. Rankings update every hour throughout the event.
Final rankings lock when the event ends. Top 50 players receive exclusive profile badges.
Unlike milestone rewards, leaderboard rewards are purely cosmetic.
Carnival Supplies
Players can purchase the new Midsummer Festival Packs, which include exclusive skins and appearance items. While I currently do not see any special Midsummer Packs in my shop, I suspect that is most likely because these will become available soon when the real Midsummer Festival begins in Norheim and related realms. According to the rules, these will be available:
Completing associated contract missions grants additional rewards.
If the structure follows previous seasonal events, expect a mixture of cosmetic purchases alongside bonus mission rewards.
Celebrate Together
Celebrate Together is the returning player event. Current players can generate invitation codes.
Returning players who meet the eligibility requirements may enter those codes to receive the Gift of Coming-back.
Both players receive rewards for participating. These events typically work best if you already have inactive friends or alternate accounts eligible to return.
Carnival Rewards
The Carnival Rewards page is a community activity.
Instead of giving a code directly, players are encouraged to visit Infinity Kingdom's official social media pages.
The complete redemption code is revealed through community channels. Once discovered, everyone can redeem the gift code in-game.
Daily Checklist
Every day during the event you should complete:
- Log in
- Defeat 10 Gnomes
- Gather 100,000 Resources
- Complete 5 Arena battles
- Use all earned mini-game attempts
- Claim milestone rewards
- Check mailbox
Missing a day's attempts means permanently losing those play opportunities.
Player Perspective
Summer Carnival feels much more relaxed than previous seasonal events that revolved around heavy resource spending. Most of the rewards come from simply logging in, completing everyday activities, and playing the Diamond Tycoon mini-game.
From what we've seen so far, the fishing game is where most players should focus their attention. The milestone rewards are generous, especially the Gems, Stardust, and Homer's Epic Artifact Schematic Fragments, while the leaderboard adds a bit of friendly competition for players chasing exclusive badges. Based on the current mechanics, avoiding crab penalties is usually more important than grabbing every item on screen, and a clean run will often outscore an aggressive but mistake-filled one.
Overall, Summer Carnival looks like one of the more accessible seasonal events, with the majority of rewards available simply by participating every day rather than making purchases.
Conclusion
Summer Carnival is built around short daily participation rather than marathon grinding. Completing four simple daily tasks unlocks your attempts in the Diamond Tycoon mini-game, where efficient play earns milestone rewards and cosmetic ranking badges. Outside of the mini-game, the event also introduces new summer-themed skins, a returning player invitation campaign, nostalgic Heat Echoes artwork, and a community gift code.
As long as you complete your daily checklist and avoid missing resets, most players should be able to collect the bulk of the available rewards over the course of the ten-day event.
