Yawgmoth's Spider Boss Build Guide - the Strongest Boss Build Currently in Infinity Kingdom

Introduction

Finding a truly exceptional boss march in Infinity Kingdom is surprisingly rare. Many builds can produce respectable numbers, but only a handful genuinely push the limits of the game's damage mechanics.

This build, created by Yawgmoth, is one of those rare exceptions.

Rather than stacking raw Attack or relying on a single powerful immortal, the composition layers nearly every independent damage multiplier available in the game. Physical Damage Dealt, Physical Damage Taken, All Damage Dealt, All Damage Taken, Ultimate Skill Damage, Critical Rate, Energy Regeneration and multiple below-50% damage effects all work together to create one of the highest sustained single-target damage profiles currently possible.

The results speak for themselves. Against the Level 101 Titanula, Yoshitsune comfortably exceeded one billion total damage, while the entire march consistently delivered some of the highest boss damage numbers seen to date.

If your goal is maximizing damage against Titanula, Melanthios or other single-target PvE bosses, this is one of the strongest physical compositions currently available.

Team Composition

Every immortal has a clearly defined role. Rather than maximizing individual damage across the entire team, this composition focuses on empowering Yoshitsune and Tutankhamun while ensuring Khubilai Khan maintains his powerful debuffs throughout the encounter.

Why This Build Works

The strength of this march comes from layering multiple independent damage modifiers instead of stacking a single offensive stat.

Throughout the battle, the team simultaneously applies:

  • Physical Damage Dealt
  • Physical Damage Taken
  • All Damage Dealt
  • All Damage Taken
  • Ultimate Skill Damage
  • Critical Rate
  • Energy Regeneration
  • Below 50% HP damage bonuses
  • Dragon damage amplification

Because these effects belong to different damage categories, they multiply together instead of suffering heavy diminishing returns.

As the fight progresses, more of these bonuses become active. Once the boss drops below 50% HP, Yoshitsune's innate damage increase, Fear of Domination and Shadow Dragon all come online together, creating an enormous burst window that allows the team's damage to skyrocket.

Skill Setup

The following setup is the standard version of the build and is recommended if you have access to all of the required skills.

Immortal Skills
Yoshitsune Energy Mastery , Growl , Anger
Mathilda Weakness , Fountain of Life , Wine and Dine
Tutankhamun Corrosive Power , Time to Shine , Implosion
Khubilai Khan Fear of Domination , Guard , Lightning Strike

Alternative Setup

For bosses with heavy reflected damage, Khubilai Khan can instead run:

  • Absolute Defense
  • Life Link

This version sacrifices a small amount of damage in exchange for significantly better survivability. While slightly suboptimal compared to the default setup, it remains a perfectly viable alternative if you lack some of the recommended skills or need additional protection against reflect damage.

Immortal Breakdown

Mathilda

Mathilda is the support engine that makes the entire march possible.

Her role is not to deal damage. Instead, she continuously supplies Energy Regeneration while providing powerful offensive buffs that increase the damage of Yoshitsune, Tutankhamun and Khubilai Khan.

More frequent ultimate casts allow Khubilai Khan to maintain maximum debuff stacks while enabling Yoshitsune and Tutankhamun to spend far more of the battle using their strongest abilities.

Without Mathilda, the team's entire damage rotation slows considerably, making her one of the most important immortals in the composition.

Khubilai Khan

Khubilai Khan provides one of the strongest boss debuffs available.

His ultimate applies Physical Damage Taken, stacking up to 90% increased Physical Damage Taken after reaching three stacks.

Since both Yoshitsune and Tutankhamun deal almost exclusively physical damage, maintaining these stacks throughout the encounter is essential. Few skills contribute more to the team's overall damage.

Tutankhamun

Tutankhamun provides reliable sustained physical damage from start to finish.

While Yoshitsune delivers the massive burst windows, Tutankhamun continuously contributes high single-target damage while benefiting from every offensive buff and debuff applied by the team.

His consistent output makes him the ideal secondary damage dealer for long PvE encounters.

Yoshitsune

Yoshitsune is the centerpiece of the entire composition.

His damage scales exceptionally well in boss encounters because his ultimate gains 50% increased damage once the target falls below 50% HP.

This mechanic rarely reaches its full potential in PvP, where battles often end before the bonus becomes relevant. Against Titanula and other world bosses, however, the fight continues well into the second half, allowing Yoshitsune to repeatedly unleash empowered ultimates.

Combined with Khubilai Khan's Physical Damage Taken debuff, Shadow Dragon's damage amplification and the build's many offensive multipliers, Yoshitsune's damage climbs rapidly.

In Yawgmoth's battle reports, Yoshitsune exceeded one billion total damage, making him the clear star of the composition.

Skill Synergies

Every skill in this build has been chosen to strengthen the team's overall damage profile. Rather than stacking the same statistic repeatedly, each skill contributes a different multiplier that combines with the others.

Energy Mastery

Energy Mastery is one of the core skills of the build.

Every time Yoshitsune casts his ultimate, Energy Mastery restores additional energy while increasing his damage output. This creates a positive feedback loop that allows him to reach subsequent ultimate casts more quickly while amplifying every cast.

Growl

Growl provides one of the strongest temporary offensive buffs available.

Its burst window pairs exceptionally well with Yoshitsune's devastating ultimate, allowing him to capitalize on every major damage phase throughout the encounter.

The downside to Growl's massive damage buff, is that it also lowers initial energy by 100. However, for Yoshi we are mostly reliant on massive damage once we hit the 50% HP treshold on the boss meaning the initial slower ramp-up is perfectly acceptable.

Anger

Anger further strengthens Yoshitsune's already exceptional offensive output.

Since Yoshitsune contributes the overwhelming majority of the team's damage, dedicating another offensive skill slot to him produces excellent returns over the course of the fight.

Weakness

Weakness is one of the strongest aura skills available for dedicated boss hunting.

Rather than directly increasing damage, it significantly boosts the Critical Rate of every immortal in the march. Since world bosses have relatively low Resilience, the additional Critical Rate translates into an exceptionally high critical hit chance throughout the encounter.

This is particularly valuable for Yoshitsune and Tutankhamun, whose damage scales extremely well with critical hits. In Yawgmoth's battle reports, Yoshitsune's Total Conquest landed as a critical hit 95% of the time in one attempt and 80% in another, illustrating just how effective Weakness can be against bosses.

Fountain of Life

Fountain of Life is the engine that keeps Wine and Dine active.

Every six seconds it heals the entire march. While the healing itself is helpful, the true value comes from repeatedly triggering Wine and Dine's damage buff on every immortal.

The two skills work together to create one of the strongest support combinations available for PvE boss encounters.

Wine and Dine

Wine and Dine 50% chance to increase an immortal's Damage Dealt by 30% whenever they receive healing. Note that while you will recieve the permanently wounded debuff once the spider boss hits 50% HP (which negated all healing effects on your immortals) this does not disable Wine and Dine. Wine and Dine can trigger of off attempted healing, even if that attempt is unsuccesful due to wounds debuffs.

Because Fountain of Life heals the entire team every six seconds, the buff is refreshed continuously throughout the encounter, providing excellent uptime on one of the team's strongest offensive effects.

Corrosive Power

Corrosive Power increases Ultimate Skill Damage, making it an excellent choice for Tutankhamun, whose sustained damage relies heavily on repeated ultimate casts throughout the fight.

Time to Shine

Time to Shine provides another powerful offensive boost for Tutankhamun.

Combined with Corrosive Power and Implosion, it allows him to maintain consistently high physical damage while Yoshitsune handles the largest burst windows.

Implosion

Implosion increases Physical Damage Dealt.

Because this modifier is separate from Physical Damage Taken, it stacks exceptionally well with Khubilai Khan's debuffs and substantially increases the damage of both physical DPS immortals.

Fear of Domination

Fear of Domination activates once the boss drops below 50% HP, increasing the damage enemies take by 20%.

Its timing perfectly matches Yoshitsune's own below-50% damage bonus, creating one of the largest offensive spikes in the entire encounter.

Guard

Guard provides additional survivability for Khubilai Khan, helping ensure Tutankhammun remains alive long enough to maintain maximum Physical Damage Taken stacks for the duration of the fight.

Lightning Strike

Lightning Strike earns its place primarily because of its debuff rather than its own damage.

Whenever it triggers, the boss receives 10% increased All Damage Taken. Since this belongs to a separate damage category, it multiplies with the build's many other offensive bonuses and increases the damage dealt by every member of the march.

Dragon Setup

Dragon selection is another key part of maximizing this composition's damage. You have two viable options: Fire and Shadow. Preferably you want a shadow dragon for this boss killing build, due to the reliance on below 50% HP execution. However, a shadow dragon at lower upgrade levels in terms of talents, etc. is NOT better than a fully upgraded fire dragon!

Above 50% HP

Fire Dragon performs exceptionally well during the opening phase of the battle, helping Yoshitsune maximize his early damage while Khubilai Khan builds his debuff stacks.

Below 50% HP

Once the boss reaches half health, Shadow Dragon becomes the superior option.

Its second talent perfectly complements Yoshitsune's own below-50% damage bonus, but the true highlight is Shadow Breath.

Shadow Breath causes the boss to take 50% increased damage for approximately 30–45 seconds. Against Melanthios and Titanula, this window covers a significant portion of the remaining battle, allowing the team to benefit from the debuff for almost the entire final phase.

Combined with Fear of Domination, Yoshitsune's innate damage increase and the team's existing offensive multipliers, this creates an enormous finishing window that is largely responsible for the build's exceptional damage output.

Placement

Correct positioning is just as important as the immortal and skill selection.

Unlike many PvE encounters, Titanula does not deal full AoE damage. Instead, her attacks target the front-left immortal and damage enemies in a straight line behind that target.

This allows you to control exactly which immortals take damage.

For this build, position your march as follows: Mathilda and Khubilaikhan on the LEFTand Tutankhamun and Yoshitsune on the RIGHT.

This setup ensures that Khubilai Khan absorbs the boss's attacks while Mathilda, positioned directly behind him, shares the line damage. Meanwhile, Tutankhamun and Yoshitsune remain on the opposite side of the formation where they can deal damage uninterrupted.

Keeping your damage dealers away from the boss's attack line is particularly important because damage decreases as troop count falls. Every troop lost reduces an immortal's offensive output, so protecting Tutankhamun and Yoshitsune allows them to maintain maximum damage throughout the fight.

Many players assume Titanula deals full-area damage and overlook positioning entirely. In reality, taking advantage of the boss's line attack is one of the easiest ways to increase your overall damage without changing your march or skill setup.

Battle Results

Yawgmoth's battle reports demonstrate just how effective this composition is.

Some highlights include:

  • Yoshitsune exceeding 1 billion total damage
  • Ultimate skills accounting for more than 70% of Total Conquest damage
  • Exceptionally high critical hit rates throughout the encounter
  • Consistent battle times of under one minute
  • Minimal troop losses despite extraordinary offensive output

Perhaps most importantly, these numbers are highly consistent. The build performs so well because it relies on reliable mechanical interactions rather than favorable RNG.

Player Perspective

After years of testing PvE marches, it is uncommon to find a composition that genuinely changes how boss damage is approached. Most teams simply stack more Attack or Physical Damage and rely on stronger immortals to carry the fight. Yawgmoth's build takes a far more methodical approach.

Every immortal contributes something unique. Mathilda accelerates ultimate rotations while empowering the entire team. Khubilai Khan continuously increases the boss's Physical Damage Taken. Fountain of Life and Wine and Dine maintain nearly constant Damage Dealt buffs. Weakness pushes critical hit rates to remarkably high levels against bosses with low Resilience. Shadow Dragon and Fear of Domination transform the second half of the battle into an extended burst phase that perfectly complements Yoshitsune's innate 50% ultimate damage bonus.

The result is a composition where every mechanic reinforces the others. Rather than relying on one overpowered interaction, the build achieves extraordinary damage through synergy, timing and a deep understanding of Infinity Kingdom's combat mechanics.

Conclusion

Yawgmoth's spider boss build sets an exceptionally high benchmark for physical PvE marches in Infinity Kingdom. Instead of relying on raw stats alone, it combines energy generation, powerful support buffs, stacking debuffs and multiple independent damage multipliers into a composition that becomes stronger as the battle progresses.

For players looking to maximize their performance against Titanula, Melanthios and other single-target PvE bosses, this build stands as one of the most refined examples of boss optimization currently available. It demonstrates that the strongest marches are not necessarily those with the highest power, but those that make the most effective use of the game's underlying combat mechanics.

New to Titanula?

Before copying a build, it's worth understanding how the Spider Boss actually works. Titanula has several unique mechanics—including predictable targeting, line attacks, troop count scaling and a permanent Wounded phase—that significantly influence which immortals, skills and formations perform best.
