The Pirate Festival 2026 is now live in Infinity Kingdom and runs from September 14 to September 24, 2026 UTC. In most respects, this is a familiar seasonal festival with a login reward, festival pass, Fishing Contest, Dazzling Wish, challenge stages, ranking activities and two event shops. If you participated in the Harvest Festival during August, you will immediately recognize most of the structure.

There is one genuinely new addition: Alchemical Secrets, a crystal-sorting puzzle that we have never seen in Infinity Kingdom before. It is surprisingly entertaining and also provides more Magic Fishing Nets for the Fishing Contest. We will examine its mechanics and solutions in a separate guide, while this article provides a general overview of the entire Pirate Festival.

TL;DR

Pirate Festival follows the usual seasonal-event structure. Log in daily, progress the Temple of Edfu festival pass, complete Alchemical Secrets for Fishing Nets, use those Nets in the Fishing Contest and clear the available combat challenges. Free Proofs of Light can be used in Dazzling Wish, while Eternal Grails and Pirate Festival Coins are spent in the event shops.

The biggest new reward is Horus, who has been added to the Grail Shop. Alexander and Athena’s Summer Passion outfit fragments have also returned through the festival, while the Fishing Contest, Glorious Challenge and Pinnacle Trial provide additional progression and ranking rewards.

Pirate Festival Overview

The live Pirate Festival contains eight main tabs:

Glorious Challenge

Most of these systems have appeared in previous seasonal festivals under slightly different names or themes. The main exception is Alchemical Secrets, which replaces the more familiar festival mini-games with a new crystal-sorting puzzle.

The event uses several currencies and consumable items. Magic Fishing Nets are spent in the Fishing Contest, Proofs of Light are used for Dazzling Wish, Eternal Grails purchase premium rewards in the Grail Shop and Pirate Festival Coins are earned through combat challenges and spent in the Challenge Shop.

You do not need to complete everything immediately. Several rewards and harder challenges unlock gradually, so the safest approach is to participate every day and avoid spending all your event currency before you have inspected the full shop.

Lucky Koi

Lucky Koi combines the festival’s daily login reward with an optional paid lottery.

The free part is simple: open the tab each day and claim the available gift containing a Proof of Light. These free Proofs should be collected even if you do not intend to spend anything during Pirate Festival, as they provide free attempts in Dazzling Wish.

Players can also purchase the optional $4.99 Koi Gift Pack to enter the current lottery round. Each round lasts two days and selects one participant for the Koi Grand Prize. The paid pack also contains Proofs of Light and Magic Fishing Nets, while players who participate in all five rounds without winning receive a consolation reward.

The lottery is entirely optional. The important free-to-play action is simply remembering to visit Lucky Koi and collect the free gift every day.

Temple of Edfu

The Temple of Edfu is the Pirate Festival’s progression pass. The official announcement refers to this part of the event as Summer Vibe, but Temple of Edfu is the name displayed in the live event interface.

Completing daily festival tasks grants experience and raises the pass through 30 levels. There is a free reward path available to everyone and an additional premium path for players who purchase the pass.

The paid pass rewards include festival currencies, Magic Fishing Nets, Proofs of Light and other progression materials. Alexander the Great’s Summer Passion outfit fragments have also returned among the pass rewards.

All in all you collect 120 Tokens of Light, 60 Alexander Outfit fragments, 5,000 Fishing Nets and 60 fragments for Temple of Edfu Castle Skin.

As with previous festival passes, daily activity matters more than rushing. Complete the available tasks throughout the event and remember to claim the rewards you unlock.

The Temple of Edfu Castle Skin provides 5% Physical and Magical Attack Bonus to Immortals as well as 5% Building Upgrade Speed.

While this is a powerful combat skin, it is not as powerful as other combat skins (e.g. the Abyssal Skin) which provides Troop Attack % bonuses. These remain superior due to how the game calculates damage scaling off of troop count.

Alchemical Secrets

Alchemical Secrets is the most interesting new feature in Pirate Festival. It is a level-based crystal-sorting puzzle in which players must organize differently coloured magical stones to complete each challenge.

Completing stages provides rewards including Magic Fishing Nets, creating a direct connection between the new mini-game and the returning Fishing Contest. Cleared levels can also be raided, while additional groups of stages become available as the festival progresses.

The basic concept is easy to understand, but later stages require more careful planning because a poor early move can leave the remaining crystals impossible to arrange efficiently. Since this is a completely new Infinity Kingdom mini-game, we will cover its exact rules, solutions and best approach in a separate Alchemical Secrets guide.

For this general overview, the important point is that players should complete the available stages whenever they unlock. The rewards provide additional Fishing Nets without requiring direct purchases, and the game itself is a welcome change from the usual seasonal activities.

Fishing Contest

The Fishing Contest returns with essentially the same mechanics used during the Harvest Festival.

Players spend Magic Fishing Nets to launch their nets and catch fish of different qualities. Each catch awards points, with rarer fish generally contributing more toward milestone and ranking rewards.

The event includes several overlapping reward systems:

Overall festival rankings
Catch collections

Because Fishing Nets are awarded through Temple of Edfu, Alchemical Secrets, Glorious Challenge, Pinnacle Trial and other festival activities, there is no need to purchase or spend everything immediately. Collect the free Nets first and then decide how far you want to push the milestones or rankings.

Now if you are collecting the Alexander Outfit skin and have not completed that yet, spending for more Fishing Nets is quite good value - something I am personally doing.

The overall rankings are considerably more competitive than the basic milestones. Players interested only in efficient progression should focus on the guaranteed point and collection rewards rather than attempting to compete with major spenders.

Dazzling Wish

Dazzling Wish is the festival’s wheel event and uses Proofs of Light for attempts. The wheel contains Eternal Grails, progression materials and a small chance of valuable premium rewards.

Athena’s Summer Passion outfit fragments have returned as one of the rare wheel rewards. The event also includes point milestones, daily rankings and an overall ranking, with the most valuable prizes reserved for the highest placements.

Players should claim every free Proof of Light from Lucky Koi and other festival sources before deciding whether to purchase additional attempts. The ordinary wheel rewards are useful, but the rare outfit fragments and high ranking positions can require substantial spending.

If your main target is Horus rather than Athena’s outfit, or well to be more precise. If your main objective is not to collect Athena's Outfit, then you should NOT be getting your Eternal Grails from Dazzling Wish, but instead be using the Grail Wheel introduced a two seasonals ago. Grail Shop

The Grail Shop contains two separate exchange sections: the Challenge Shop and the Grail Shop.

The Challenge Shop uses Pirate Festival Coins earned from Glorious Challenge and related festival activities.

It contains ordinary progression materials alongside cosmetics, challenge tickets, Stardust, artifact schematic selections and other limited rewards. Personally, I think players should prioritize Stardust, Token of Light and if in excess of currency / or in desperate need, go for elemental unique artifacts.

The Grail Shop uses Eternal Grails, the premium currency obtained mainly through Dazzling Wish and selected festival rewards. The most important new addition is Horus, the new Chaos back-row magical Immortal introduced in Patch 2.9.9.

Horus is likely to become one of the festival’s main spending target for the biggest whales. His passive prevents any single instance of incoming damage from exceeding a percentage of his maximum HP, giving him unusual protection against the burst-heavy meta that has dominated the meta.

The Grail Shop also contains Chaos Immortal selection rewards, artifact schematic fragments and other high-value items. I think many players like me, are especially happy to collect the 250 Grail Chaos Immortal Chest and the Chaos Artifact Selection Chest.

These are incredibly cheap and the most efficient way to progress chaos immortals like Apollo, Medusa, Tengu, or the older ones.

Glorious Challenge

Glorious Challenge is the festival’s main PvE progression activity. Normal difficulty is available first, while Hard difficulty opens later during the event.

Players receive challenge tickets each day, with the system replenishing the total to five at the daily reset when fewer than five remain. Cleared stages can be swept, making it easier to use later tickets without repeating every battle manually.

Rewards include Pirate Festival Coins for the Challenge Shop, Magic Fishing Nets and additional festival items. Hard difficulty also provides access to more valuable rewards.

Do not allow your ticket supply to remain at five or above when the next daily reset arrives, as you may miss the free replenishment. Use the available tickets, progress as far as your marches allow and return when the harder stages become available.

Make sure you get enough Coins to collect the items in the Challengers Shop that you are most in need of, note the shop has a daily stock refresh. Conserve as many of the extra Challenge Ticket purchases as you can in preparation for hard mode to unlock.

Pinnacle Trial

Pinnacle Trial is the more competitive combat section of Pirate Festival. Players challenge increasingly powerful formations to earn first-clear and stage rewards, after which qualifying players can participate in the ranking challenge.

The stage rewards include Magic Fishing Nets, Dazzling Wish attempts and season-appropriate Immortal fragments. Ranking rewards provide additional premium materials, cosmetics and Insignias, with their exact contents varying according to season and placement.

Most players should treat Pinnacle Trial as a source of free rewards rather than feeling pressured to compete for the top positions, only the biggest of whales can care about that. Clear every stage your account can reasonably defeat, collect the Fishing Nets and other materials, and leave the highest rankings to accounts built for that level of competition.

Summary

Pirate Festival 2026 is largely a traditional Infinity Kingdom seasonal festival, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Fishing Contest, Dazzling Wish, the festival pass and the two combat activities provide a familiar mixture of free progression and optional competitive spending.

The major additions are Horus in the Grail Shop and the completely new Alchemical Secrets crystal-sorting game. Alchemical Secrets is also an important free source of Magic Fishing Nets, so everyone should complete the available stages even if they are not chasing the Fishing Contest rankings.
