What to buy from in-game shops

đź›’ Infinity Kingdom In-Game Shops Guide: What to Buy

Whether you’re a light spender or a whale, knowing where to spend your resources is key to efficient progression in Infinity Kingdom. This guide walks through all the day-to-day in-game shops and outlines what’s worth your investment — and what isn’t. We are not going to cover all the standard bundles, since most of them are too expensive to consistently buy for normal players and you should buy from there only if you really need something. We are going to cover the in-game shops which are either free or very cheap and efficient.

⚔️ Arena Shop

The Arena Shop can be deceptive. While it offers a variety of items, almost all of them are bad value compared to other sources. The two standout exceptions are Stardust, which is always in demand for portait levels, and the big 2400 Wind Dragon Crystals, which are priced far more rare than other dragon shards. Even if you’re not building Wind, it’s wise to collect these for potential future use or to save resources if you ever need Wind (especially with the new buff in patch 2.8.2). Small dragon crystal bundles here are a massive trap — they look tempting but offer extremely poor shard-per-cost ratios.

âś… Buy:

  • Stardust – A must-buy every time it appears.
  • Big Gold Bundle Wind Dragon Crystals – Even if you’re not building Wind, these are great value.

❌ Avoid:

  • Other dragon crystals – Horribly overpriced. For example, 40,000 arena coins may give you 800 shards vs. 6,000 in the Wind pack — over 7x less value.

🧭 Mysterium Shop

This shop rotates based on Mysterium progress and offers one of the few ways to get Elite Artifacts (EAs) without relying on luck or cash. If you’re developing an Immortal that’s missing their artifact, this should be your top priority.

âś… Buy:

  • Elite Artifacts (EAs) for Immortals you actively use.
  • Only consider other items after you’re done with EAs.

❌ Avoid:

  • Teleports on Main – Use alt-account inventories for porting instead and CoR shop.

🔄 Triss Shop (Skill Recycle Shop)

This shop is critical for developing a strong march. It lets you recycle unwanted skills into a unique currency to buy top-tier ones. Since meta skills like No Escape, Purify, Weakening Curse, define competitive play, you should always prioritize these. Artifacts are a secondary option once your core builds are complete. Avoid using this shop to grab UAs unless in very niche cases like if you cannot obtain e.g. Trajan’s elsewhere — they are often freely available from events and not worth the spend here.

âś… Buy:

  • Top-tier Skills only (e.g. No Escape, Energy Burst, etc.).
  • Artifacts only if you’re done with key skills.

❌ Avoid:

  • Low-tier skills – They offer no real advantage and waste your currency.

🛡️ Alliance Shop

Simple and essential: Space Portals are the only purchase that makes sense in this shop. These normally cost real money, but here you get them free just for contributing to alliance tech or donating during KVK. Even if you don’t currently need to teleport, having a stockpile means you’re ready for war, server merges, or emergency jumps. No other items in the shop come close in value.

âś… Buy:

  • Space Portals – Normally $5 each, totally free here with steady coin flow.

❌ Avoid:

  • Everything else – Cost per value is significantly worse than the portals.

🌟 Golden Path Merit Shop

This shop is a jackpot for mid-to-late-game players. You earn merit through Golden Path missions and can use it for powerful Immortals, AP, dragons, Stardust, and even portals. Dragon Castle Skins like Mountain can offer great utility, while Immortals like YSS are excellent long-term investments. The shop is very flexible, making it great for plugging resource gaps. You can even buy Stardust here in a pinch. Frames and chat skins are purely aesthetic but available for collectors.

âś… Buy:

  • Important Dragons – Based on your team comp (Mountain is great early).
  • Core Immortals – YSS, Trajan, etc.
  • Big AP Pots – Excellent value for long-term farming or raids.
  • Space Portals – Backup if you’re short elsewhere. Personally I like to obtain them here too as long as I am below my threshold. When I hit my count I collect only from Alliance shop etc.

Optional:

  • Stardust – Rare and useful but expensive pick here.
  • Frames & Chat Skins – If you care about cosmetics.

❌ Avoid:

  • Artifacts here – Usually more efficient to get elsewhere (Mysterium, Triss).

đź’  Pearl Shop (Daily Purchase)

This is one of the game’s most flexible shops for spenders. You earn Pearls from spending and can convert them into valuable resources. Sun and Power Crystals are your best value here for building equipment. You can also grab Dust, which is rare and needed in large amounts. Occasionally, you can use Pearls to finish key Immortals (like grabbing a few shards for Alex to unlock his specialization). Avoid buying keys or Shadow Crystals unless you’re spending heavily or chasing something specific. Personally I like to stack Pearls to buy Epic Dragon Chest Keys, but only while you are in dire need of crystals as you rapidly progress in e.g. season 1 and 2.

âś… Buy:

  • Sun & Power Crystals – Excellent cost efficiency for equipment growth.
  • Dust – Needed for specializations; hard to farm.

Optional:

  • Immortals – Finish specific units if close.
  • Keys – Only in progress stage.

❌ Avoid:

  • Shadow Crystals – Overpriced for their value.

đź’Ž VIP Shop

Reserved for long-term or heavy spenders, this shop lets you spend VIP Points on premium items. Most notably, it’s where you can unlock Holy and Shadow Dragons, but you’ll need to focus on one. Splitting between both is too expensive. Unless you’re a super whale, pick one and commit. Everything else in the shop is filler — some players grab epic chests during dragon rushes, but most regret it later. If you’re under VIP 15, you may want to push VIP using gems slowly over time — it’s a long but worthwhile goal!

âś… Buy:

  • Holy or Shadow Dragon – Best investment of your VIP points.
    • Holy Dragon is top-tier, great synergy and power.
    • Shadow Dragon has unique combos — niche but strong.

❌ Avoid:

  • Epic chests, gear, etc. – Poor long-term value.
  • Trying to get both dragons – Focus on one or you’ll stagnate.

🪙 VIP with Gems?

If you’re not VIP 15 yet:

  • Spending gems to reach VIP 15 over time is viable.
  • Especially good in big alliances where you get lots of free VIP points.

🏪 Standard Gem Shop

The “default” gem shop looks like a place to grab quick resources — but in practice, it’s just a price anchor. Almost everything here is full price and rarely worth it. Treat it as a reference point to know what’s overpriced, and only buy here in one situation: using gems to push VIP level when nearing milestones like VIP 15.

❌ Avoid:

  • Everything — It’s full price. You’ll find better deals almost anywhere else.

âś… Only exception:

  • VIP Points – If you’re gem-pushing to hit VIP milestones.
