Understanding the Dodge Mechanism:

Dodge serves as a potent defense against physical damage, providing a crucial layer of survivability to your Immortals. It’s essential to recognize that dodge exclusively works against physical attacks, including normal attacks and abilities denoted as “physical damage rate.” However, the effectiveness of dodge can be diminished by an enemy’s accuracy, which reduces the dodge chances of your Immortals.

Delving into Dodge Skills – Misleading and After-Image:

1. Misleading:

  • Purpose: Increases dodge chance, offering a valuable defense against physical attacks.
  • Strategy: Effective when facing enemies relying on physical damage.
  • Considerations: Assess its value by observing if enemy attacks are successfully dodged by your Immortals.

2. After-Image:

  • Purpose: Similar to Misleading, enhances dodge chances to improve overall survivability.
  • Strategy: Complements Misleading for an added layer of dodge effectiveness.

Understanding Dodge Mechanics in Infinity Kingdom: A Tactical Analysis

In the intricate landscape of Infinity Kingdom, the mastery of dodge skills is a game-changer, with Misleading and After-Image taking center stage. To navigate this aspect effectively, commanders must delve into the subtleties of physical damage recognition, energy regeneration dynamics, and the art of deciphering battle reports for crucial dodge metrics.

Identifying Physical Damage: Unraveling the Challenge

Challenge: The initial hurdle lies in recognizing skills and attacks categorized as “physical damage rate.” You must learn which Immortal’s deal physical damage. If you are faced with an enemy that deals mainly magical damage, misleading may not be very valueable. On the other hand, against enemies with a lot of physical damage, misleading can be a huge boost.

Insight: Building familiarity with these distinctions is paramount, providing a crucial foundation for understanding when dodge skills, such as Misleading and After-Image, are most beneficial.

Dodge Counters Energy Regen: A Tactical Insight

Insight: Dodging attacks serves as a formidable countermeasure, preventing the triggering of skills like Energy Burst and Adrenaline Rush. If the triggering attack is dodges, the enemy will gain no energy from their efforts!

Consideration: A successful dodge translates to no hits, consequently inhibiting the activation of energy regeneration skills. This critical insight influences strategic decisions during skill setup.

Reading Battle Reports for Dodge Metrics: A Strategic Approach

Technique: Commanders can initiate their analysis by clicking on a specific Immortal in the battle report.

Exploration: Navigate to the type of damage dealt to unveil intricate details such as dodge rate, critical hits, and instances of dodged attacks. This exploration is instrumental in gauging the effectiveness of dodge-centric strategies.

For this the important metric is dodge. Clicking on an immortal in the battle report. Then clicking on one of the types of damage being dealt by this immortal on the right hand side gives players information about the damage dealt, critical hits and dodged attacks.

Evaluating Misleading’s Effectiveness

Methodology: Analyzing battle reports becomes a strategic exercise to ascertain if enemy attacks are successfully being dodged.

The goal is for players to be able to test for themselves and evaluate if Misleading is good for them or not. For instance, if a player uses misleading he can check the enemy side of the battle report, go to a physical damage dealer and check the attack information to see if any of the enemy’s attacks are being dodges by his Immortals. If they are, misleading gives high value. If they are not, it means that the enemy has too much accuracy for the player to gain value from misleading.

In the above report you can see that I should be using Coercion for the Alexander to try and reduce the dodged attacks. Likewise, it shows that the enemy’s reliance on Misleading is a good choice, because my Alexander had 43% of it’s attacks dodged entirely!

In the below, you will see the reverse, here I am still not using Coercion, but the enemy is also using Misleading. However, not a single Alexander attack is being dodged! What does that mean? That means that my Alexander has enough accuracy to make up the increased dodge chance of my enemy. As such, the enemy should replace misleading with something else.

Strategic Insight: Misleading proves its worth if dodges occur, signifying its value in enhancing the survivability of Immortals. However, commanders should maintain a continuous reevaluation process, especially if no dodges are observed.

In the ever-evolving battlefield of Infinity Kingdom, understanding the nuances of dodge mechanics becomes a strategic art. Through astute recognition of physical damage, leveraging the counteractive nature of dodge against energy regen, and dissecting battle reports for insightful metrics, commanders can elevate their tactical prowess. May your Immortals dodge swiftly, and victories be plentiful on the horizon!
