Time Breaker – Everything you need to know

An In-Depth Analysis of the Time Rift Breaker Event in Infinity Kingdom

Greetings, fellow commanders! As the first week of the Time Rift Breaker event in Infinity Kingdom comes to a close, it’s time to delve into the intricacies of this exciting weekly event. Join us as we explore the event’s rules, optimal team compositions, coveted rewards, and strategies for success.

With the latest patch, the Time Rift Breaker event has made its debut in the world of Infinity Kingdom. This event is not to be missed, as it offers a unique and rewarding experience. The Rift Breaker makes its appearance in every server within the same Legion of Frostborne season, with the caveat that the server must have reached at least season two to participate.

Rules

Rift Breakers emerge every Monday, ready to face the onslaught of fearless commanders. The battle window extends from Thursday to Sunday, providing ample opportunities for players to engage. Each player is granted three daily attacks to take down these formidable foes. While Immortals can only be deployed once a day, dragons can be utilized more liberally. If you possess a maxed-out dragon, you can use it consecutively on all three teams.

Team Compositions

Crafting the ideal team composition is crucial for achieving victory in the Time Rift Breaker event. We’ll assume access to all free Immortals and King of the Hill Immortals for our examples. However, if you lack specific Immortals, don’t fret – experimentation can lead to effective substitutes. Additionally, perusing the damage rankings and observing other players’ choices can offer valuable insights.

Notably, rare single-target skills may outperform epic skills in certain scenarios. For instance, consider using skills like Root and Poison Thorn for Hammurabi, as they prove more effective than Annihilation and Death Breath. While Immortals can only be used once per battle, skill changes can be made as frequently as desired. To streamline the process, it’s advisable to have multiple formation presets, sparing diligent players from constant skill adjustments.

There are three distinct types of Rift Breakers to contend with: Venom, Vampirism, and Amplify. Each presents unique challenges and demands tailored team compositions:

  • Venom Rift Breaker: Inflicts magical continuous damage and is weak against Holy, Lightning, and Fire elements. An example team might feature Hippolyta, William, Empress Wu, and Hammurabi, focusing on single-target damage and exploiting the Rift Breaker’s elemental vulnerabilities.
  • Vampirism Rift Breaker: Deals magical damage while healing itself and is susceptible to Shadow, Wind, and Lightning. An effective lineup could consist of Hannibal Barca, Alexander, Hammurabi, and Qin, capitalizing on synergies despite Alexander’s elemental mismatch.
  • Amplify Rift Breaker: Unleashes buffed physical damage and is vulnerable to Water, Earth, and Fire elements. A well-rounded team may include Hippolyta, Alexander, Yoshitsune, and Empress Wu, benefiting from elemental strengths and prioritizing single-target damage.

Rewards

The Time Rift Breaker event boasts a treasure trove of rewards that are well worth the effort:

Daily Attempts: Each attack can yield a maximum of 1,500 Glory Points, totaling 4,500 Glory Points per day. Accumulated Glory Points unlock chests containing badges once you reach specific thresholds: 1k, 3k, 5k, 8k, and 12k points per week. These chests offer 1.5k, 2.5k, 4k, 5k, and 7k badges, culminating in a weekly total of 20,000 badges.

Total Damage Ranking: Players earn badges based on their total damage output at the end of the week. Rankings determine badge rewards, ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 badges. To maximize your standing, strategically distribute your strongest Immortals to complement each other and achieve the highest total damage.

Highest Damage Ranking: A separate ranking is awarded for the highest damage dealt in a single attack. Players can earn between 12,000 and 25,000 badges based on their ranking. Concentrate your most potent Immortals on one attack team to secure a top spot in this category.

Kill Count Rewards: The event also encourages teamwork, as rewards are distributed based on the number of Rift Breakers collectively defeated during the week. Individual achievements contribute to a team objective, with players earning 1k, 1.5k, 2k, 2.5k, and 3k badges for 1, 3, 5, 8, and 15 kills, respectively.

Summary

The Time Rift Breaker event offers a captivating extension of the Infinity Kingdom experience, blending individual and team dynamics. While it demands continuous skill adjustments for optimal damage output, the event provides an opportunity to unlock exclusive artifacts and amass Glory Points with ease. With rewards aplenty and a collaborative element, every commander should participate and strive for excellence.
