What are Schematics and how to obtain and craft Artifacts

Artifact schematics are essential for maximizing the power of your Immortals in Infinity Kingdom. Artifacts significantly boost Immortal performance, providing key attribute enhancements and, in the case of Unique Artifacts, granting powerful special effects. Since artifacts play a major role in strengthening your team, consistently acquiring artifact schematics should be a priority.

There are four main types of artifacts, each corresponding to a different Immortal type:

  • Attack Artifacts – Used by frontline attackers
  • Defense Artifacts – Used by frontline tanks/supports
  • Magic Artifacts – Used by mages
  • Ranged Artifacts – Used by ranged DPS
  • Support Artifacts – Used by healers and buffers

Each artifact can roll different attributes, and you will need a vast number of schematics because crafting artifacts is a numbers game. Even if you don’t get perfect rolls immediately, you still benefit by accumulating artifacts to use as upgrade materials for boosting both Artifact Level EXP and Bonus Skill Rank once you roll a powerful artifact with a bonus effect. So, no schematic is ever truly wasted!

Earning Schematics

You can obtain artifact schematics primarily through two sources: Calendar Events and Mysterium.

Calendar Events

Regular game events are the best source of artifact schematics. Some key events to watch out for include:

  • Contention of Lords (Kill Event / KE) – Rewards a full set of Epic schematics.
  • Golden Path – Grants an entire set of schematics + more through Medallion.
  • Arms Race – Offers a decent amount of schematics as you progress.
  • Asteria (not yet available in my preperation server) – A great source of schematic fragments.
  • Seasonal Events – Special events like the Spring Festival often include artifact schematics, sometimes even schematics for Unique/Exclusive Artifacts.

Mysterium

Mysterium can be completed twice a day, and from Floor 4 onward, you start collecting artifact schematics. When selecting rewards, always prioritize schematics for the most important Immortal in your team.

Purchasing Schematics

While schematics are available in the in-game shop, their abundance from events makes them a low-value purchase in most cases. Your money is typically better spent elsewhere.

Collecting Schematics Early

Even if you are not yet Castle Level 35 and thus unable to craft Epic artifacts, you should still focus on collecting as many schematics as possible. Once you unlock artifact crafting at a high level, you will need a massive number of schematics to:

  • Upgrade Artifact Level EXP
  • Increase the Bonus Skill Rank on high-quality artifacts

Normal vs. Unique/Exclusive Artifacts

There are two main types of artifacts:

  1. Normal Artifacts – Usable by all Immortals of a given type.
  2. Unique/Exclusive Artifacts – Provide a special effect but only when equipped on a specific Immortal.

TIP: Unique Artifacts have higher max values for attributes, hence you want them even on immortals they dont provide unique benefits to if you do not own the immortal’s specific artifact.

While Unique Artifacts can technically be equipped on any Immortal of the corresponding type, their special effects only apply to their designated Immortal.

Some Unique Artifacts are much stronger than others. Here are the best Unique Artifacts to prioritize for each element:

  • Lightning – Khan, Hammurabi
  • Water – Attila, Herald
  • Fire – All Unique Artifacts are important, but prioritize Hippo and Seon first
  • Earth – Alexander → Zenobia → Charles
  • Shadow – Himiko first
  • Hybrid (Earth-Wind) – You need all four, but prioritize Alexander

Unique Artifact Availability

Some Unique Artifacts are locked behind the Wisdom Well, which is only available later in a server’s lifespan. However, many Unique Artifacts can be obtained through the Mysterium Shop.

The best Unique Artifacts available for purchase in the Mysterium Shop (Preparation Server) include:

  • Hippolyta
  • Herald
  • Hannibal Barca
  • Qin
  • Zenobia
  • Hammurabi

Prioritize spending Mysterium currency on these schematics to build powerful artifacts for your strongest Immortals.

Whether through event participation or daily Mysterium runs, always be on the lookout for ways to increase your schematic collection.
