Why you need Alt Castles in Infinity Kingdom – Resources, Honor

One of the most common questions I get from new players is: “Why are you making so many alt castles?” To many, it seems like a waste of time, but trust me—if you’re serious about growing fast in Infinity Kingdom, alts are a game-changer. Whether you want to stack up resources, farm honor, or maintain a steady supply of gold, alt castles are your best tool for getting ahead. Let’s break it down!

Resources – How Alts Fuel Your Growth

Relying on your alts to farm resources is the fastest way to grow your main castle.

Each alt generates a steady flow of resources that you can use in two ways: either by directly harvesting them through attacks or by farming with their AP (Action Points). The key is to balance both methods.

Your alts will naturally collect more resources than they need, especially if you’re consistently farming dead castles and gathering from nodes. When these resources start to overflow, you can “harvest” them with your main castle by attacking your own alts. Every attack will bring back a full load of resources, making sure that no excess goes to waste.

Another big advantage is perhaps not very intuitive: Gold production. Your main castle will not have enough resource production to sustain continuous gold transmutations while playing competitively. Alt resources are great for this! Particularly since as you develop your castle you will need wood and stone and iron for buildings but not as much food (later in high PvP battles food is your most precious resource, but not yet). Keep an eye on your minting talents and make sure you’re regularly converting your excess food into gold in the Forge. This is the easiest way to stockpile enough gold for your dragons and upgrades.

Summary:

  • Use alt AP to farm resources from dead castles and farm nodes.
  • Harvest excess resources by attacking your alts with your main.
  • Convert surplus food into gold to maintain a steady supply.

Honor – Farming Honor Efficiently with Alts

If you want to climb the honor rankings fast, alts are your best friend. Here’s how you can turn your alt castles into a never-ending honor farm:

First, you need to set up your alt marches correctly. The trick is to remove their dragons, artifacts, equipment, and passives—everything that makes them stronger. You want them as weak as possible while keeping their troop count high. This way, your main castle can attack them efficiently and maximize honor gain per battle.

Next, make sure you always activate the Rank Advancement talent on your main castle before attacking. This talent doubles the honor gain from one battle, so you want to make sure you hit the largest possible stack of troops every time you use it. To do this, you should stack up garrisons inside one alt castle.

During SvS (Server vs. Server), you can even push the garrison cap with tech, allowing you to get even bigger honor payouts. If you maintain a daily routine of attacking a full stack of marches with Rank Advancement active, you’ll consistently gain massive amounts of honor without needing to rely on combat events.

Summary:

  • Make alt marches as weak as possible while keeping troop count high.
  • Activate Rank Advancement talent before attacking.
  • Stack garrisons inside one alt for maximum honor payout.
  • Attack daily to maintain a steady honor income.

How to Maintain Alts – Keeping Everything Running Smoothly

The more time you invest in keeping your alt AP low, the more resources and honor you’ll generate. However, I know that not everyone has time to manage a dozen alts actively—so here are two main ways to approach it:

  1. Active Alt Management (High Yield) – If you have time, log in daily, spend all AP farming, and keep your resource flow moving.
  2. Passive Alt Management (Low Effort) – If you’re short on time, you can set up a “farmville” of alts that only do the bare minimum. Just log in occasionally to keep them active, gather resources, and let them stack up passively over time. Simply keep buildings and technology moving, and keep increasing troop counts by raid low level gnomes for EXP and raid Well of Time. This takes maybe 20 min. per day total running my 14 alt accounts.

Either way, having alts—even if they’re only semi-active—is a huge advantage over players who rely only on their main castle for growth. This is how the fastest-growing players get ahead, and if you want to maximize your potential, you should be doing the same.

Summary:

  • The more AP you spend on alts, the more value you get.
  • Fully active alts will accelerate your main’s progress.
  • Even passive alts will provide solid resources over time.

This is why I have so many alts and why they’re absolutely essential if you want to be competitive. If you’re serious about growing fast, start setting up your own alt castles today and enjoy the endless resources and honor they provide. See you on the battlefield!
