Earn Speedups

Speedups are in high demand in Infinity Kingdom. Players have limited ways of obtaining these, and a huge demand for it in order to upgrade buildings, technology and to train/heal troops in the heat of battle. The Mysterium is the best free way to obtain a steady stream of speedups – NEVER skip a Mysterium! Always remember to clear is every two days.

Mysterium – Gold versus Speedups

Running the Mysterium you must decide between gold and speedups. Camps provide a very high yield means to gain gold if you do gold runs.

The lootboxes found in Mysterium on the other hand is a great way to get speedups – especially as a free to play, where speeds are much more rare.

Spoeedup runs

Running Mysterium on my main and my alts it is clear that the loot scales somehow – it does not seem to be only Castle level, but a combination of soldier tier, castle level and overall power. Running with t5, C40-43 at around 2mil power I avg. 14.5 hours of speedups per clear.

Mysterium speedup rewards. The reward per chest looted in the Mysterium is the same for all chests on each floor. Likewise, each clear rewards a hefty bonus reward. It is important to note, that the speedups can be all types dropping seemlingly at random.

The rewards are as follow at my level:

Running with t5, C40-43 at around 2 mil power my speedup earned running gold runs (killing camps over looting boxes) average at 867 minutes worth of speedups = 14.5 hours.

Worth it?

In addition to the speedups I am looting between 3.2 million and 3.5 million doing a speedup run. Opting for this strategy will net you an avg. 2.5 hours of speedups more than gold runs (as the bosses are the main source) and around 400,000 less gold.

Hardmode

You must complete the Mysterium on the highest difficulty while being able to kill the stronger enemy marches in your way. Going for speedups makes it a lot easier, as you can skip most camps.

If you are able to comfortably clear Hardmode (it is ok to skip hard counter and shadow marches) then go for it! Bosses yield the majority of speedups but you still want to run this on hardmode.
