Hunting Festival 2025: Full Event Guide

The long-anticipated Hunting Festival 2025 has officially launched in Infinity Kingdom, introducing a brand-new event structure. Following our earlier sneak peek guide, we now have full access to all features of the event, and there is plenty to unpack. With an innovative hunting mechanic, new currency systems, ranking competitions, and a unique cosmetic reward system, the event is an ambitious upgrade from previous formats—but not without its controversies.

Sign-In Rewards

This time, the daily login rewards consist exclusively of the new event currency: Resonance Crystals. Players receive 2 crystals per day, amounting to a total of 20 free crystals over 10 days. These are used in the core hunting mechanic described below.

Hunting Season Battle Pass

The battle pass features 30 levels and is split into a free and a paid track:

  • Free Track: Awards only Resonance Crystals, with a total of 60 free crystals.
  • Premium Track: Priced at $50, it includes:
    • One random full Holy/Shadow Immortal
    • 145 Resonance Crystals
    • A large amount of Gems
    • The all-new territory skin: Corridor of Ghost Flame

The skin provides a 2% Troop HP buff and a cosmetic sprite transformation, comparable to the Fourth Anniversary skin. Players need 160 EXP per level to reach the top, with a daily cap of 700 EXP, totaling 7000 EXP over the event. This means a degree of flexibility: you can skip a few days and still finish the pass.

Glorious Challenge

This PvE component has players fight gnome formations in two difficulty tiers:

  • Normal Mode is available from day one.
  • Hard Mode unlocks on day three.

You get five challenge tickets per day, and clearing each stage for the first time gives Souvenir Coins and Gems. Once cleared, you can raid levels for extra coins.

Tip: Always push your highest possible stage! Failing a stage does not consume tickets.

⚠️ Glorious Challenge Tickets – Spend Smart!

During the Hunting Festival event, players can purchase Glorious Challenge tickets in the Celebration Shop using gems. However, it’s crucial to be strategic with these purchases!

These tickets are not permanent—they expire the same day you buy them. If you purchase and use them before Hard Mode is unlocked (on May 17), you’ll be forced to spend them on Normal Mode, which yields significantly fewer rewards.

To maximize your returns:

  • Wait until May 17 when Hard Mode becomes available.
  • Then purchase and use all your gem-bought tickets on Hard Mode stages for the best value in Souvenir Coins and event progression.

Patience here pays off—don’t waste your gems early!

Pinnacle Trial

This is a more advanced version of Glorious Challenge, featuring PvE battles against Immortals with challenging passive skill combinations. You receive one ticket per day and can earn up to 30 Resonance Crystals through first clears. Rewards also include random Immortal Fragments and more Souvenir Coins.

Celebration Shop

This event-exclusive shop lets you trade Souvenir Coins for a wide range of items:

  • New avatar and chat frames
  • Glorious Challenge tickets (limited; wait for Hard Mode)
  • Up to 90 Resonance Crystals (for 18,000 coins)

While it’s tempting to spend early, we advise waiting until Hard Mode opens for better coin efficiency.

🎯 Best Items to Prioritize in the Celebration Shop

For players looking to make the most of their Souvenir Coins, I highly recommend securing both of the full Unique Artifact Selection Chests as well as the 500 Stardust. These offer the best long-term value and progression impact.

Once you’ve claimed those key rewards, your best bet is to spend any leftover currency on:

  • Resonance Crystals (for more chances in the Hunt)
  • The 4x 1-Hour Speedup Chests, which provide solid efficiency for daily development

Stick to these priorities to get the most value from the event!

The Hunt Mechanic

The central feature of the Hunting Festival is the Treasure Hunt. Using Resonance Crystals, you can perform hunts for a chance at top-tier rewards:

  • On Conquest Servers, these include:
    • Chaos Immortal selection chests
    • Random Chaos Immortal Fragments
    • Grand Prize: 80 Chaos Selection Fragments
  • On Non-Chaos Servers, rewards are instead:
    • Holy/Shadow Immortal selections

The prize pool is shared across all servers, meaning competition for Grand Prizes is intense and refreshes every two hours or when all Grand Prizes are claimed.

Rankings and Milestone Rewards

Each Crystal spent = 1 point. There are two ranking systems:

  • Daily Rankings:
    • Top prize: Ability Stone Selection Chest (skills like Corrosive Power, Ambush, No Escape and Guard, Purification and more in season servers where later skills are yet to be unlocked *)
    • Runners-up: Unique Artifact Selection Chests
  • Total Event Rankings:
    • Top rewards: Exclusive Event Frame, Gold Dust, Random Fragments

Additionally, there are Milestone Rewards based on accumulated points, granting Random Chaos (or Holy/Shadow) Fragments.

Note for F2P: You can aim to enter the top 1000 daily or bank your Crystals for a late-event push at the daily leaderboard.

Strategic Hunting: Do not hunt whenever you obtain Crystals. Instead make sure you bank enough to obtain a ranking in the daily rankings that you are satisfied with and try to snipe a ranking by noticing days where rankings are lesser than others. E.g. I expect daily rankings on the 17th where hard mode is unlocked and thus event shop coins explode to be much higher than others.

In-Game Shop Bundles

Bundles range from $3 to $100, offering different value:

  • $3 and $5 bundles: Best return with ~3 Crystals per $1.
  • $50 Bundle: Includes Crystals, Philosopher Stones, and an exclusive Avatar Frame.

Total spenders can collect hundreds of Crystals and dominate the event’s Hunt and Rankings. 

Summary & Final Thoughts

The Hunting Festival 2025 is a reimagined event format with a fresh approach to PvE challenges, cosmetic rewards, and battle pass progression. However, the shared prize pool system and emphasis on spending make it difficult for free-to-play or light spenders to compete for top-tier prizes.

Still, everyone can earn decent rewards through milestone progression, PvE stages, and by planning Crystal spending wisely. The new Corridor of Ghost Flame skin and Battle Pass structure represent a meaningful evolution of seasonal content in Infinity Kingdom.

Our recommendation:

  • F2P/Low Spenders: Focus on completing PvE stages and accumulating Crystals to make a focused push on the daily leaderboard.
  • Moderate Spenders: The $50 Battle Pass provides solid return with Crystals, cosmetic skins, and value rewards.
  • Whales: Compete in rankings for Ability Stones and the Grand Prize jackpot in the Hunt.
