Malena’s Ambition – Beginners Guide (preperation friendly)

Here’s a comprehensive guide to Malena’s Ambition, structured in an engaging and informative way for both new and experienced players. It explains event mechanics, strategies, power level recommendations, and rewards, along with critical tips for maximizing success in the event.

Comprehensive Guide to Malena’s Ambition

Malena’s Ambition is a PvE-based event in Infinity Kingdom where alliances defend cities from waves of Gnome armies. It’s an excellent opportunity to earn personal and alliance rewards while testing your troop strength and coordination.

This guide will cover:
✔️ How the event works
✔️ How to participate effectively
✔️ Key strategies for new and veteran players
✔️ Optimal troop placement and defense tactics
✔️ Reward breakdown and power recommendations

If this is your first time participating, don’t worry! By the end of this guide, you’ll know exactly what to do to maximize rewards and contribute effectively to your alliance’s defense efforts.

How Malena’s Ambition Works

1. The Basics of the Event

  • Your alliance selects a city to defend against waves of attacking Gnomes.
  • The Gnome waves increase in difficulty as the event progresses.
  • If the city walls fall, you can still continue fighting by defending the garrison pillars inside the city.
  • The event rewards personal contributions and alliance-wide performance, so both individual and teamwork efforts matter.

Complete challenges to gain bonus power against the Gnome invaders as well as a bit of extra rewards.

💡 Tip: The Gnome difficulty scales based on the city’s base level (not the upgraded level). You can check a city’s base level by clicking on it on the map.

How to Participate Effectively

1. Entering the Event & Positioning Yourself

  • You must move either close to or into the event area to participate.
  • If your castle is inside the event area, it will be attacked by the Gnome waves.
  • Lower power players should stay outside the siege circle and send their army to garrison the city walls instead.

💡 Tip: If you can defeat the incoming Gnomes with at least two of your marches, you can safely stay inside the event area and repeatedly garrison the city walls. Otherwise, it’s safer to remain outside and just send reinforcements.

2. Garrisoning & Reinforcing Defenses

  • If you are outside the siege zone: Send troops to garrison the city walls to help repel Gnome waves.
  • If you are inside the siege zone: You can repeatedly garrison the city walls to strengthen defenses and earn extra points. ALWAYS garrison yourself when inside.
  • If the walls fall:
    • Your alliance has NOT lost yet!
    • You can continue defending from the garrison pillars inside the city.
    • If needed, stack everything into one pillar for maximum resistance.

💡 Tip: Even if your city’s outer walls collapse, you still have a chance to earn rewards and hold back Gnome forces from completely overwhelming the city.

Strategic Tips for Maximizing Success

1. Role Assignments Based on Power Levels

  • High-Power Players (Strongest Troops & Marches):
✔️ Should be inside the siege zone to garrison city walls and defeat Gnome waves directly.
✔️ If the walls fall, they should hold the garrison pillars.
  • Mid-Power Players (Moderate Strength & Good Formations):
✔️ Can stay outside the siege zone and reinforce the city walls consistently.
✔️ If they can beat Gnome waves with atleast two marches, they should consider being inside the area.
  • Low-Power Players (Weaker Armies & Troops):
✔️ Do NOT move inside the siege zone—this will get your castle attacked.
✔️ Instead, they should send their armies from outside the siege zone to reinforce the city walls.
✔️ Focus on supporting stronger players with constant reinforcements.

💡 Tip: If your alliance is struggling, prioritize reinforcing ONE garrison pillar rather than spreading defenses too thin.

2. Prioritizing Targets & Maximizing Damage

✔️ Coordinate with your alliance—keep checking each square of the wall, ping your alliance to reinforce if one section is weak.
✔️ Save your strongest marches for garrisoning walls and use a march that wins despite larger losses on your own garrison (or stay outside the area).
✔️ Note that there will be gnome bosses in a few major waves, make sure to secure the area with strong marches when you see a boss moving towards the wall section

💡 Tip: If your alliance is losing ground, focus on defending garrison pillars to maximize points and prolong survival.

Rewards & Recommended Power Levels

1. Personal & Alliance Rewards

  • Rewards are given based on individual contribution (damage dealt, troops sent, etc.) and alliance-wide performance.
  • Higher-tier cities give better rewards, but are also more difficult to defend.

Main rewards include:
✔️ Alliance Coins (main reward)
✔️ Speed-Ups
✔️ Gems
✔️ Philosopher stones

💡 Tip: Even if your alliance doesn’t fully defend the city, you’ll still earn valuable rewards, so participation is always worth it. Note alliance coins rewards are based on the amount of gnomes you kill, being the last to garrison a section of the wall means the first to fight incoming gnomes.

2. Power Level Recommendations

These differ greatly based on server progression and city level! In preperation for example: a Level 4 Cities (Low Difficulty) – Recommended **39K+ power per march. **Base Level 7 Cities (Moderate Difficulty) – Recommended 72K+ power per march. However, these recommendations are not entirely honest since they assume you do not have a well-created army. If you have strong builds you can go quite far above the recommended power. Note that Capitals are more dangerous but certainly not impossible if you alliances larger players participate.

The event is easier than most players think in preperation servers and season one. So I would recommend you try one of your higher level cities to begin with. If that is easy for your alliance, move on to your capital. If it is hard and you maybe barely defend in the last pilar, move to a lower level city. But dont go too low, the difficulty drops fast and so does the reward points!

💡 Tip: Check the level of the city before selecting a siege target. You can do this by clicking on the city on the map to see its base stats.

Summary

✔️ Malena’s Ambition is a city defense event where alliances must repel waves of Gnome attackers.
✔️ Lower-power players should stay outside the siege zone and send reinforcements, while stronger players should garrison inside.
✔️ If the city walls fall, you can still fight from the garrison pillars inside the city.
✔️ Rewards are based on personal contributions and alliance performance—so always participate!
✔️ The difficulty scales with the base city level, so check the map before choosing a target.

💡 Final Tip: Always communicate with your alliance to assign roles, coordinate reinforcements, and maximize success.

🔥 Now you’re ready to dominate Malena’s Ambition and earn top rewards! Good luck, and may your defenses hold strong! 🏰⚔️
