Tutankhamun changes may 2023

Major changes to the Ultimate ability and energy regen attributes of Tutankhamun!

Before:

Infinity Kingdom has just released a new shadow element Immortal figure, Tutankhamun, with an ultimate ability called “Wrath of Horus” (Unleash 5 waves of energy to random enemies dealing physical damage of up to 250%, if a target has already been damaged, the next energy wave will deal double the damage). In this article, we will explore who Tutankhamun was in real life, what he can do in the game, and how important energy regen is for Immortals.

After:

Instead of unleasing double damage on ALL damaged enemies, Totankhamun has been nerfed A LOT and not instead has gotten an added leech effect as well as the double damage effect however with a modified trigger condition. Instead of double damage to all damaged, he now deals double damage to a target he has hit within the past 1.5 seconds. A major nerf. To make up for some if the damage loss, they have added a leech efect. When damaging an enemy that is affected by Bleed or Tear, Tutankhamun will have 70% chance to recover 2% of his maximum hp.

Tutankhamun was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled from around 1332 BC to 1323 BC. He ascended to the throne at the age of nine and died at the age of eighteen, making him one of the youngest pharaohs to have ruled Egypt. His tomb was discovered in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter, and the discovery of the tomb and its treasures made Tutankhamun one of the most famous pharaohs of ancient Egypt.

Tutankhamun in Infinity Kingdom

In the game, Tutankhamun’s ultimate ability, “Wrath of Horus”, deals physical damage of up to 250% to random enemies. If a target has already been damaged with 1.5 secdons, the next energy wave will deal double the damage. This ability is still very very powerful and the leech effect works well in tandem with the concept of Bathory and Bjorn.

Before:

Tutankhamun’s energy regen rate is 67.2, which is not the best but should not be a problem for him. Energy regen is an important factor to how powerful an Immortal is, and it is often overlooked by many players when reviewing Immortals. However, it is a crucial element to consider as it determines how quickly an Immortal can use their ultimate ability in battle. A higher energy regen rate means an Immortal can use their ultimate ability more frequently, which can greatly impact the outcome of battles.

After:

Tutankhamun’s energy regen has been SUBSTANTIALLY increased! From 67.2 to a massive 70.4 energy regen as it’s base. This is a massive buff that will do a lot to make up for the lost damage. Overall this makes him a much more consistent Immortal and in my opinion making him more interesting for actual PvP leech focused physical shadow marches.

Amazing boss killer

Furthermore, Tutankhamun will be an amazing Immortal for killing world bosses in Norheim and will be absolutely amazing at killing the spider boss. Comparatively, he will likely be above and beyond the best single target Immortals currently in the game. His ability deals significantly more damage than that of e.g. Yoshitsune and Hippolyta and will likely be unrivaled in terms of boss damage dealing potential. In the correct setup, I would not be surprised to see top tier spider builds with Tutankhamun able to reach 6-7% hits!

Conclusion

In conclusion, Tutankhamun is a powerful new Immortal figure in Infinity Kingdom. His ultimate ability, “Wrath of Horus”, deals massive amounts of damage to random enemies, and his energy regen rate is sufficient for him to be used in various energy regen focused builds. Energy regen is an important factor to consider when reviewing Immortals, and it is crucial for their effectiveness in battles. Tutankhamun can be applied in various scenarios, such as replacing Siegfried or taking on world bosses. Tutankhamun’s arrival in Infinity Kingdom has certainly made the game more exciting, and players are looking forward to seeing what he can do.
